There are hundreds of spooky films that are a must watch during Halloween and for people who love to have a laugh during the scariest time of the year, the Scary Movie franchise is a top choice.
Luckily for fans of the comedy horror films, Disney+ has announced that Scary Movie 4 will be released this month ahead of Halloween.
The fourth instalment follows the trend of the previous three films by spoofing popular horror movies, this time parodying Saw, The Village, The Grudge and some non-hair raising titles like Million Dollar Baby and Brokeback Mountain.
Scary Movie 4, which debuted in 2006, is the last film to feature the franchise’s most beloved characters, the loveable airhead Cindy (played by Anna Farris) and her dim witted BFF Brenda (played by Regina Hall).

The cast also includes Craig Bierko, Bill Pullman, Anthony Anderson, Molly Shannon, Leslie Nielsen and Michael Madden.
And just like previous films, Scary Movie 4 has countless celebrity cameos, such as NBA star Shaquille O’Neal, Kevin Hart and rappers Fabolous and Lil Jon.
Directed by David Zucker, Scary Movie 4 was intended to be the final film in the series until the fifth film, Scary Movie 5 was released in 2013.
