Rich House Poor House mum left in tears as millionaire couple 'change her life'

Natalee, who lives on £60 a week, was offered a life-changing opportunity from the millionaire couple

A mum on Rich House Poor House was left in tears after a millionaire couple gave her a surprise that would 'change her life'.

In a recent episode of the Channel 5 show, a woman named Natalee was brought to tears by the kindness of the strangers who she swapped houses with.

Rich House Poor House takes families from Britain's wealthiest households and swaps their budgets, homes and lifestyles with those from the bottom ten percent.

Living on £60 a week after bills, Natalee is a single mum to young Ava and shared her hopes to save up enough money to give her daughter the best life, while also wanting to start up a nail business.

The mum was working part-time at a petrol garage and revealed that at periods of time, Ava and her wouldn't have any money at all and she couldn't afford to pay her bills.

Natalee dreamt of getting the training needed to launch her nail business but was struggling to afford the course costs as well being in debt to loans she'd taken out to purchase items to get her started.

Completely transforming her budget, she swapped homes with a very wealthy couple, the Singhs.

Dr Rashpal Singh and his wife Kiran Kaur run a pretty successful skincare clinic in Middlesborough and in 2018 they bought a prominent former bank building to transform into their own beauty clinic.

While rather well-off now, they opened up about how when they were children their own parents had struggled and the couple aim to pass on the same values to their own three daughters and son.

During the process of living with Natalee's budget and lifestyle, the couple developed a desire to help the struggling mum to pay off her debts.

They surprised her with gestures of kindness and an opportunity to help achieve her dreams. She had to fight back tears when the Singhs told her they'd cleared the debt she owed from a loan to afford her laptop.

Plus, after chatting to local nail art specialists for advice, they offered to pay for Natalee to take accredited courses in nails and nail art - so she too could get her own business going.

And that wasn't it either, the couple even gave her the opportunity to work with someone local to her home, which could possibly lead to substantial paid work as well.

Overwhelmed by the kindness of these two strangers, Natalee said: "This is gonna completely change my life. I'm more than grateful."
