Prince Andrew's Bizarre Voicemail Greeting Revealed In New Jeffrey Epstein Doc

Prince Andrew's Bizarre Voicemail Greeting Revealed In New Jeffrey Epstein Doc

ITV presenter Ranvir Singh uncovered Prince Andrew's voicemail message in a new documentary about Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

ITV presenter Ranvir Singh uncovered Prince Andrew's voicemail message in a new documentary about Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell's crimes.

Listen to the voicemail message below:

In Ghislaine, Prince Andrew And The Paedophile, Singh finds Maxwell's 'little black book' which contains the names and contact details of people connected to convicted paedophile Epstein, who died in 2019.

"The names and numbers in here are vast," she says, before spotting Prince Andrew's name and several phone numbers.

“The Duke of York, Buckingham Palace, London, and then there are numbers for Sunninghill, Wood Farm, his equerry, Balmoral, there’s something what looks like a mobile phone number on here. I’m going to give it a go.”

Although Prince Andrew does not pick up the phone, his voicemail message is still active. Ranvir is left visibly in shock after hearing the Duke of York’s voice.

Prince Andrew said in the pre-recorded message: “I'm afraid I have not been quick enough to get to the phone before it went off to take your message. If you do have a message, please leave it and I will get back to as soon as I can.”

After being prompted by an automated voice to leave a message after the beep, Ranvir said: “Hello, I think this might be Prince Andrew, this is Ranvir Singh from ITV. And we found your number on the little black book. And we'd like to have a chat with you.

"If you could get back to us. Thank you.”

She then addresses the camera, stunned: “I mean, that sounded like Prince Andrew’s voice. Prince Andrew’s voice on a voicemail.”

Earlier this month, Prince Andrew reached a financial settlement with Virginia Roberts Giuffre, who had accused Jeffrey Epstein and his then-associate Ghislaine Maxwell of sexual abuse, and claimed that she was "forced to have sex" with the Duke of York when she was just 17-years-old.

The settlement sees the end of the civil claim filed in the US and means that Prince Andrew will not go to trial.

The royal has also pledged to "demonstrate his regret for his association with Epstein" and says he will make a "substantial donation" to Virginia Giuffre's charity.

In the ITV documentary, Singh explores how the Queen’s second son became embroiled in the scandal.

Prince Andrew has always denied the historic allegations made against him.
