If you're looking for something new to get into, then how about a film about a mum in the middle of a robot apocalypse.

Check out the trailer for Mother/Android:

Netflix viewers have been reduced to tears after watching Chloe Grace Moretz and Euphoria star Algee Smith star as a couple on the run when thousands of evil robots turn against their human owners.

The film begins on Christmas Eve when Georgia Olsen (Moretz) discovers she’s pregnant with her boyfriend Sam Hoth’s (Smith) child. She’s not ready to become a mum and she’s unsure about her relationship.

At a Christmas party Georgia attends, people notice loud screeching noise and soon after, an android serving the attendees becomes violent.

The film is set in the near future when androids are used as everyday servants for humans.

Now, the androids are rebelling, which leads to a war as artificial intelligence seeks control.

After seeking refuge in a forest, the couple hatch a plan to travel to Boston where they have heard rumours about a boat transporting new mums to Asia.

But to get to Boston, they must cross a no-man's land filled with androids seeking revenge.

Georgia and Sam must go on the run and try to escape the country, while coming to terms with the arrival of their first child before it’s too late.

It's an emotional rollercoaster.
