Megan Fox has once again sent shockwaves across social media after confessing the unusual ritual she practices with her fiancé Machine Gun Kelly.

The couple have been incredibly candid about the ins and outs of their relationship since they started dating in 2020.

Now, the 35-year-old actor has decided to spill some of the bloodier details of their union.

Those who are obsessed with every detail surrounding the world’s most prominent supporters of PDA will recall Fox's Instagram post announcing their engagement in November.

“And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes,” she wrote at the time.

The viral - or shall we say, vial - post finished with: “And then we drank each other’s blood.”

In case you thought Fox was joking, it turns out drinking blood is actually an act the couple partakes in, as discussed in a new interview with Glamour UK.

“I guess 'drank each other's blood' might mislead people or people are imagining us with goblets and we're like Game of Thrones, drinking each other's blood,” she told the publication, adding: “It's just a few drops, but yes, we do consume each other's blood on occasion for ritual purposes only”.

She also explained the reason behind the ritual. "It is used for reason and it is controlled where it's like, let's shed a few drops of blood and each drink it."

Fox said MGK is much more “haphazard and hectic and chaotic” and is willing to “cut his chest open with broken glass”.

Twitter users were left feeling uncomfortable by Megan's confession.

One Twitter user quipped: "Remember to drink water (or blood if you’re Megan Fox)".

While another concerned social media user shared: "Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox drinking each other's blood got me feeling some type of way. Like no, this ain't it."

A third person joked: "If Megan Fox can openly say that she likes drinking her husband’s blood, I think I’m allowed to openly talk about how insufferably lonely I am as a hopeless romantic without feeling like y’all are judging me".

Fox and MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, drew comparisons to Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton, who infamously wore vials of each other's blood as necklaces in the early 2000s during their relationship.

One Twitter user chastised Fox and MGK, writing: "Someone should tell Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly that drinking each other’s blood is a gimmick already done by Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton - so it’s not shocking or unique it’s just gross and disgusting".

At the same time, some film fanatics compared the ritual to Fox's 2009 horror flick Jennifer's Body in real life.

"Megan Fox is living out her Jennifer’s Body role in real life," one person shared.

While a second fan tweeted: "Always felt like Megan Fox played Jennifer’s Body a little too well".

We can't imagine what they're going to reveal next!
