When it comes to body-based criticism, Megan Fox is taking no prisoners.
The actress, 40, came under fire this weekend by a number of social media trolls who seemingly took issue with a sexy snap Fox posted on Instagram, after which she went viral for her fiery response.
The backlash flooded into the comments of a photo showing the Transformers star wearing a black mesh bandeau top, which she paired with some chic lace underwear and a gothic veil.
"Men would have them believe disobedience was Eve's vice, when it was her greatest virtue," Fox cryptically captioned the seductive selfie, in which she also poses with a golden halo above her head.

Many fan comments were positive, praising the Jennifer's Body bombshell for flaunting what she's got.
"This is who I pray to," one joked, while another added: "The most beautiful woman on earth."
A third gushed: "I’m actually weak for you."
"Yesss Diva has been summoned," another went on.
Unfortunately for Fox, however, one troll took it upon themselves to criticise her latest social media display, claiming women of her age should lean closer towards concealing their bodily beauty.
"This s**t is so unbelievably embarrassing for a 40 year old mom to be posting," they hit out. "16 year old tumblr s**t."
As opposed to taking the remark personally, however, Fox opted to make light of the situation by firing out a response that hinged on her former flames.
Joining one of the 350+ users who defended her in the replies, the mother-of-four wrote: "Which one of my exes is this [detective emoji]?"
Iconic, I know.
Technically, Fox has only enjoyed a handful of well-known, long-term relationships.
She began dating her now-ex-husband Brian Austin Green all the way back in 2004, with the pair tying the knot six on-off years later, and welcomed three children - sons Noah Shannon, Bodhi Ransom and Journey River - together.
The couple separated in 2020, after which Dox was linked to musician Machine Gun Kelly, making their red carpet debut together that November.
By January 2022, the pair were engaged, only to call things off before ever saying 'I do'.
Prior to their split, however, Fox became pregnant, giving birth to their daughter, Saga Blade Fox-Baker, in March of last year.
Discussing her high-profile romances during an appearance on Good Morning America in 2023 while promoting her poetry book, Pretty Boys are Poisonous.
"This is not an exposé that I wrote or a memoir," she said at the time. "But throughout my life I have been in at least one physically abusive relationship and several psychologically very abusive relationships.
"I have only been publicly connected to a few people, but I shared energy with, I guess we could say, who were horrific people. And also very famous - very famous - people. But no one knows that I was involved with those people."
