Married At First Sight UK: Daniel And Matt Missing From First Couple’s Dinner In Shock Twist

Fingers crossed everything’s okay between these two…

Married At First Sight is our latest obsession, and we cannot wait to see what happens to our couples now the honeymoons are over.

While some of our newly-weds have had several bumpy starts along the road, the same can’t be said for Daniel and Matt – the first gay couple to be matched on this series.

The pair clicked instantly, thoroughly enjoying each other’s company and even sharing a few intimate moments while on their romantic break in Mexico.

However, the other couples noticed their absence as they regrouped for the first dinner party.

Watch the clip below.

Morag was among the first to notice Daniel and Matt’s absence, asking the rest of the group where they were.

“They should have been here by now,” she said, before saying to her partner Luke that she loved Daniel and wanted to see him again.

Other couples agreed with the sentiment, adding they would be gutted if the pair decided to quit the experiment all together.

And in a shock twist, someone makes an announcement to explain just where the pair have gone…

We hope Daniel and Matt will be back soon – they were the strongest couple!

In other MAFS news, Nikita has also left the show.

The contestant, who was married to Ant during the series, was booted from the programme after violating E4’s code of conduct.

Speaking to Mail Online, a spokesperson for the show confirmed: “During filming, a situation escalated off camera and Nikita displayed a level of aggression that was unacceptable and breached our agreed code of conduct on behaviour.

Nikita is said to have launched into a tirade against her fellow MAFS cast members for only signing up to the show for fame.

The spokesperson continued: "The wellbeing of cast and crew is our utmost priority at all times throughout production and beyond.

"As a result, Nikita was asked to leave the experiment. All involved have been offered support and Nikita has since apologised and resolved the situation with those involved.”

Married At First Sight UK continues Monday to Thursdays at 9pm on E4.
