Love Island's Kem Cetinay Involved In Shock Crash That Left Biker Dead

The reality star has been left 'traumatised' by the incident in Essex.

Former Love Island winner Kem Cetinay has been involved in a car crash in Essex that left one person dead.

The TV personality, 26, is reportedly 'shaken up' after his car collided with a motorbike yesterday morning (August 4), leaving the biker with fatal injuries.

As reported by witnesses, the biker had been overtaking multiple cars on Shepards Hill in Romford before colliding with the reality star.

A representative for Kem told the Mail Online: "Kem was this morning involved in a road traffic accident close to his home in the Brentwood area at approximately 11.30am.

"Tragically, a motorcyclist died in the collision. Kem has been assisting the police and is being treated purely as a witness to the incident.

"Kem will be making no further comment on this matter aside to offer his deepest condolences, prayers and sympathies to the motorcyclist's family and friends."

One witness said they felt bad for the 'traumatised' reality TV star, who was unharmed in the incident that left the front of his Mercedes G-Wagon damaged.

"I feel for him. He watched someone die in front of his eyes," they told The Sun. "The driver of the motorbike flew about 20ft into the air before landing on the road."

Another witness explained that Kem was visibly upset at the scene, which took place close to the restaurant he opened last July.

They told the Mail Online: "Kem was clearly upset and distraught by what happened. He was pacing up and down. He was on the phone and talking to two women at the side of the road. He seemed to be in shock."

Another source elaborated to the news outlet that the reality star is being treated as a witness, stressing there was 'no wrongdoing' on his part.

While Police and the London Ambulance Service were called and the motorbike driver was treated, he sadly died at the scene.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police told The Metro: "Police were called at 11:32hrs on Thursday, 4 August to reports of a collision at Shepherds Hill, Romford.

"Police and London Ambulance Service [LAS] attended. At the scene a car had been in collision with a motorcycle.

"Despite the efforts of medics, the male motorcyclist [no further details] was sadly pronounced dead at the scene at 12:04. Enquiries are underway to notify next of kin.

"The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries. He was not arrested."

Tyla has reached out to Kem's representatives for comment.
