Love Island: Tasha's Dad Says Andrew Is 'Son-In-Law' Material

This is the ultimate seal of approval!

Love Island contestant Andrew Le Page has one less thing to worry about when he leaves the villa next week because Tasha Ghouri’s dad is already a fan.

Following the baby challenge earlier this week, the 27-year-old took the baby on a tour of the villa, with some very important landmarks along the way.

Andrew told baby Leo about the moment Tasha told her beau about her superpower, a reference to her cochlear implant.

He told the plastic baby: “Your mum told me about her superpower, her superpower being that she has an implant which makes her able to hear, which is very, very special. Very, very brave.”

Our hearts are melting.

Tarek Ghouri, Tasha’s dad, took to Twitter to comment on that very moment. In response to one viewer calling Andrew and Davide Sanclimenti ‘daddies’, Tarek said: “Andrew is looking more and more like son-in-law material,” before quoting Andrew’s line by the firepit.

However some fans pointed out that the tweet Tarek responded to was meant to be a thirst trap and not an exploration into fatherhood.

“Y’all not Tasha’s dad commenting on my thirst tweet LMFAOOOO HELLPPP,” said the Twitter user who posted the original tweet.

“But also, awwww,” they added.

Wednesday's (27 July) episode saw the return of the baby challenge, which sees the couples each given a toy baby to look after for the day.

As part of the challenge, the girls headed off for a brunch outside of the villa, leaving the boys in charge for daddy day care.

Viewers were left in tears over Andrew’s heartfelt comments. One person wrote: "Ok so Andrew has just melted my heart so much telling the baby about mummy’s 'super power'... He adores Tasha so much."

While another said: "Andrew giving the baby a tour and telling him about tash has me in tears."

Another emotional viewer tweeted: “I retract everything I said about Andrew and Tasha I love them they’re so cute and they were so great with the baby I’m gonna cry”.

A fourth Love Island fan gushed about Andrew on Twitter: “Catching up on Love Island and Tasha and Andrew are actually adorable, when he took the baby to the fire pit and said about Tasha’s superpower.”

People were catching all the feels about Andrew on social media, with another fan writing: “I normally hate the fake baby episode... but Davide doing the airplane feeding and Andrew saying ‘your mommy has a superpower’ cause Tasha's deaf is really hitting my feels.”

Love Island continues tonight at 9:00pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox
