Love Island Fans Spot Heartbreaking Moment For Liberty

Love Island Fans Spot Heartbreaking Moment For Liberty

Liberty broke up with Jake earlier this week.

We're so heartbroken watching Love Island tonight, as Liberty Poole deals with the fallout from her break-up with Jake Cornish.

The episode began with Liberty's best mate Kaz Kamwi coming back from her final date with partner Tyler Cruikshank - not knowing the drama they had missed in the villa.

But instead of telling Kaz immediately about the drama that was going on in the villa, Liberty kept schtum about what was happening, in order to let her best friend have her moment.

And fans were so touched at this heartbreaking moment, they flocked to Twitter to say how moved they were by Liberty's generosity.

"Liberty not sharing news of the breakup to allow Kaz to have her moment," one person wrote, while a second said: "She's the definition of a 'good egg'."

Another said: "Liberty's heart is so pure," and a third person wrote: "Me because Liberty doesn’t wanna spoil Kaz’s happiness by telling her what happened with Jake," before adding a meme of someone crying.

"Kaz and Liberty’s relationship really runs deep," a fourth person chipped in, "This is the most intimate scene of this entire season."

And a fifth person said: "Kaz and Liberty are making me cry."

Things got even more emotional when Liberty did break the news to Kaz in the evening, explaining that she felt that Jake wasn't giving the same energy that he felt he was before.

"I just didn't want to be with someone who wasn't giving me the same energy back," Liberty said, as Kaz held her hand tightly.

"I may not have found love in the villa, but I've found self-love, and Love Island has taught me how to do that."

The chat ended with the pair agreeing to sleep out on the daybeds together.

Awww, girls, you're breaking our hearts!

Love Island continues weeknights and Sundays on ITV2 and the ITVHub. Episodes are available the next day on BritBox.
