It's been a tricky week for Love Island's Liberty Poole - and our hearts were breaking for her during Thursday evening's episode when she broke down in tears in the dressing room over boyfriend Jake Cornish.

Ever since the Islanders' Movie Night challenge last week - during which Liberty was shown a clip of Jake admitting he didn't want to 'rip her clothes off' - things have been a little rocky.

And during Thursday's ep, viewers were gutted after the Islanders' Heart Rate challenge, when it was revealed that it was in fact Millie who had raised Jake's heart rate the most.

Viewers were particularly torn up over Liberty's one-liner, which she delivered after it was revealed she had raised new boy Brett's heart rate the most, out of all the girls.

"At least I made someone's," she said.

Noooo, poor Lib!

It wasn't the only tense moment for the pair during yesterday's instalment. At one point in the episode, Liberty could be seen chatting to Chloe by the pool.

Jake and Mary were sat having a chat nearby, with Liberty getting upset that Jake had barely spoken to her all day, especially considering they'd had a difficult week.

"If he's taking me for granted he's not the one for me babe," she told Chloe, before breaking down in the dressing room.

Discussing an earlier awkward moment, she told the girls: "I didn't want to tell anyone last night but it annoyed me, when Kaz was coming down I wanted to go up and give her a hug and he was like 'no wait for her to come down' but that didn't feel like the right thing to do."

She later said in the beach hut: "Do I trust my gut and how I'm feeling or do I sit back and think about things logically?"

In a preview of Friday's episode, we saw Jake admitting to Liberty: "Since the Movie Night challenge, I feel like it's not been the same".
