Tiger King fans, the saga is not over.

The new trailer for Joe vs Carole, the dramatic retelling of the feud that had us hooked in March 2020, has dropped.

You can watch it below.

The series sees Kate McKinnon play Carole Baskin, the animal rights activist and CEO of Big Cat Rescue, who gets embroiled in a bitter feud with Joe Exotic (played by John Cameron Mitchell) a zookeeper who owns several tigers.

The trailer shows just how wild the series is going to be – and is expecting to bring back the 2020 nostalgia when the world became obsessed with Tiger King the first time round.

And fans cannot wait to tuck into the drama when the show launches next month.

Many have been blown away by McKinnon’s transformation into Baskin – nailing her slightly awkward demeanour and getting her idiosyncratic tone of voice spot on.

Flocking to the comments section, one person wrote: “Go Kate!! I love it!

A second person added: “This cast!” and a fire emoji.

“I’ll be watching!” said a third. “Love the cast.”

“Kate McKinnon is amazing!” gushed a fourth, and a fifth person agreed: “Kate deserves all the awards for this.”

“Omg, sounds like her!” laughed another viewer, enthralled by the trailer.

“Kate is an amazing talent,” agreed a fan, as someone else chipped in: “I love Kate McKinnon.”

Fans of Tiger King aren’t the only people who have been bowled over by McKinnon’s transformation.

The Big Cat lady herself, Carole Baskin, was also stunned to see the actor play her on the small screen.

“Kate must be channelling her inner cat lady to be rocking those flats, jeans, sunglasses, purse and messy hair,” she told TMZ last year.

Looks like this show will be purr-fect viewing!

Joe vs Carole will be available to stream on Peacock from 4 March, exclusively on Sky and NOW.
