Potterheads, you may think you’ve seen it all when it comes to Harry Potter, but Warner Bros. have another magical experience you can sink your teeth in to.
You can now traverse the Forbidden Forest itself in the Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience, a late night trail through one of the film’s most dangerous (and yet still majestic) areas.
The one-way woodland path, based in Arley Hall and Gardens in Cheshire, sees visitors come across creatures including Hippogriffs, Nifflers, Unicorns and Centaurs.
At the end of your 90 minute walk (though you can stay as long as you like) lies a seasonal village where guests can fill up on food and drinks straight from the Wizarding World, as well as getting gifts that will amuse and amaze your Muggle friends.
The event page reads: “Set in the beautiful woodland at Arley Hall & Gardens, this nighttime trail experience has been created by award-winning theatrical designers and experiential creators.
“Celebrating some of the most iconic forest scenes from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films, visitors can interact with magical characters and cast their own spells, bringing the fantastical world to life. Discover Centaurs, a Hippogriff, and other magical creatures before making a Patronus appear before your eyes!
“It’s an evening for the whole family with a trail through a wondrous and beautiful forest that comes to life with the magic of the Wizarding World.”
Sounds like your cup of butterbeer? Tickets start at £19 and go on sale from 29th July at 10am.
Peter van Roden, senior vice president of Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment, explained: “The Harry Potter: A Forbidden Forest Experience offers fans a new way to enjoy some of the most iconic and magical wizarding world moments.
“We’re thrilled to be working alongside Thinkwell to bring this incredible light trail to life at Arley Hall & Gardens, a perfect location where the natural beauty of the forest trail and illuminated sets filled with familiar creatures from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts series, will make for a magical experience for fans of all ages.”
