Netflix viewers are raving about about a new release starring Millie Bobby Brown.

For those unfamiliar with the hit film, it's based on author Nancy Springer's series of young adult novels, The Detective Caper.

The film, which stars Millie Bobby Brown as Enola - the younger sister of genius detective Sherlock Holmes (Henry Cavill) - is back for a second helping.

In the first film, Enola tracked down her mother, Eudoria (Helena Bonham Carter), who had disappeared, while foiling her brother Mycroft (Sam Claflin) in his plans to send her off to finishing school - sounds like a hoot, right?

Well, the new film sees Enola try to open a detective agency and tackle her first big case by tracking down a missing sister.

Meanwhile, her brother Sherlock is having trouble with his latest mystery, and as you could probably have guessed, the detectives' cases are connected, and they're forced to work together.

Bonham Carter as mother Eudoria, found safe and sound by Enola during the first film.

And viewers were thrilled to see the characters back on their screens, with one person calling the new film brilliant: "Enola Holmes 2 what a movie. I enjoyed every second of it and Henry as Sherlock is just brilliant the ending there must be a stand-alone Henry's Sherlock movie."

Another added that the film was a masterpiece: "Everything about Enola Holmes 2 is f****** masterpiece. I was laughing, crying, screaming. the plot twists were crazy??? final fight scene had me on the edge. big congratulations to millie bobby brown <3."

Another said that they were glad the film gave light to some hard-hitting issues: "Done watching Enola Holmes 2 this second movie is both great & satisfying. Brought the main issue of women's empowerment where they put Enola at as the main core with her working with sherlock. don't ask about millie's acting bcs she can always be trusted. love it! #EnolaHolmes2."

Though Netflix was pretty confident in the film's success from the outset, as the 18-year-old actor is set to make history with her fee for starring in the movie, with a reported $10 million salary for Enola Holmes 2 heading her way.

It would be the highest upfront fee ever paid to an actor younger than 20 and a huge sign of Netflix's confidence in the success of a sequel."

Safe to say that our viewing is sorted for tonight, Enola Holmes 2 is available to stream on Netflix now.
