Netflix has revealed the first look at Down to Earth With Zac Efron: Down Under in an exciting new reveal trailer.

Filming for the series began early last year, after a successful first season in 2020.

In series two, Zac Efron travels around Australia with wellness expert Darin Olien in search of healthy and new sustainable ways to live.

As showcased in the trailer, Zac will visit the sixth largest country and some of its most beautiful locations.

Zac and Darin will visit the unique variety of biomes, climates and more in the Aussie adventure.

Speaking on series two of his new show, Zac said: "This time, we're taking a deep dive into the sixth largest country in the world — Australia.

"With a unique variety of biomes, climates and organisms, we're covering as much territory as we can."

Zac Efron is back with a second series of his Netflix show.

The trailer showcased shots of Zac taking part in some extreme sports including bungee jumping.

However, the main purpose of the show is surrounding sustainable eco-friendly practices.

Zac added: "We'll be visiting some of the top innovators — all seeking to find cleaner, better and more sustainable ways of living — and using the lessons learned on this continent to serve as the microcosm for the entire planet."

Zac earlier confirmed the news that the series will be returning with a tweet last year.

He posted a picture of himself and Darin during a Welcome to Country ceremony lead by an Aboriginal Elder on Instagram.

In one picture posted, the pair had white paint on their faces and wore a traditional red head-band.

Following that snap was an image of the pair sitting cross-legged on grass during the ceremony.

Fans will remember series one of the show for the antics Zac and Darin got up to France, Puerto Rico, Iceland, England, Costa Rica, Peru and Italy.

Zac Efron and Darin Olien will visit length and breadth of Australia.

The pair dove into multiple activities in each country, many surrounding ways of trying to be more sustainable.

In that first season, Zac spoke on how we can affect change as he met locals around the world.

In one episode, he said: "We're traveling around the world to find some new perspectives on some very old problems.

"Food, water and energy are all the main staples for modern life."

Down to Earth With Zac Efron: Down Under will stream on Netflix from 11 November
