Beloved Britain's Got Talent judge Amanda Holden could soon be ditching the UK to head across the pond to America instead.

The national treasure is allegedly 'contemplating' the trans-Atlantic move over to the United States and, if she goes ahead with it, she will therefore no longer be able to judge the iconic variety show anymore.

Amanda could shortly be living it up in La La Land if she does, in fact, decide to leave Britain once and for all.

Amanda, joined by the likes of Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon and BGT new-comer, Bruno Tonioli, kicked off season 16 of the show last Saturday (15 April).

However, recent reports indicate that her days left in the UK could now be numbered, claiming that the judge was in the process of selling her London home not long before shortly jetting off to Hollywood.

After spending two sunny weeks out in Los Angeles over Easter, the star allegedly networked with some of the city's top producers during her trip where she also hung out with BGT big boss and co-judge, Simon, on the set of America’s Got Talent.

Lexi, the daughter of the Britain's Got Talent judge, has also been interested in living stateside after checking out three American universities in LA, Boston and New York.

According to The Sun, a source close to Amanda - who also presented This Morning - revealed: "Amanda is seriously contemplating a move to the States. It feels like the time is now. She spent the school hols in LA with the whole family, and had a wonderful time."

The source went on to say that the mother-of-two has been 'hanging out with Simon and his fiancee, Lauren'.

Apparently, the pair have been 'encouraging' Amanda to make the move and 'enjoy the sunshine and blue skies permanently'.

"She even visited the set of America’s Got Talent," the source went on to, "and sat alongside judges Heidi Klum and Sofia Vergara.

"Some exciting conversations are being had."

"The producers absolutely loved her."

Amanda also 'fitted in really well' with the team as producers usually opt to include at least one other Brit on the panel - from Piers Morgan all the way through to Mel B.

The source concluded: "Amanda’s had interest from a couple of top agents too, and it just feels like now could be the time to make the leap.

"Some exciting conversations are being had."

They sure are.

Well, it's clear that if moving to the States is what she wants to do then there's no Holden her back...
