Netflix viewers are raving about 'heartwarming' new series A Storm For Christmas

This is something for those who've already watched Home Alone or Elf about 500 times this Christmas

Right, we're into the home straight of the festive period; not long to go until the presents are opened, the decorations are taken down and we get back on the treadmill of life for 2023.

But before any of that, you will no doubt be in the pre-Christmas glow, and trawling through your TV planner for films and shows to get you in the spirit.

Now, while you've no doubt already watched Home Alone and Elf about five hundred times already this month, there's A new Yuletide release that people are raving about.

I give you A Storm For Christmas.

Sure, it may look like something straight off the Hallmark shelf, but there's more to it than that, according to those who've already seen it.

The six-part series is set in Oslo Airport, where people are buzzing around as they try and make their way home for Christmas.

A Storm For Christmas is available to watch on Netflix.

However, as the title suggests, a huge snowstorm puts the brakes on all of that.

The synopsis reads: "Destinies collide when extreme weather traps travellers and workers at an airport, forcing them to spend the final hours leading up to Christmas together."

Each episode follows the various characters who are affected by the adverse weather conditions and how they cope with it.

Some of those characters include a popstar running from their troubles, a romantic who rallies against the Christmas spirit, and a pilot who's not taken well to being grounded.

The limited series has proven to be a huge hit with viewers, many of whom have praised it for providing them with the feel-good fix they've been looking for this year.

The six-part series has received rave reviews.
