People are loving this woman’s ‘genius’ technique to weigh her suitcase before jetting off on holiday.
Check out the 'genius' hack here:
The hack, captured by @sheknowimadopeboy_ on TikTok, had onlookers sending in the comments, with one commenter writing: “Women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics)! We love to see it.”
“Genius,” another simply added.
Jacqueline wrote: “She paid good money for that back in the day, let her get her money’s worth.”
Another onlooker had the same experience, with their family carrying out the exact same hack.
“No, because my family had a Wii specifically for doing this so ours wouldn’t get messed up,” they explained.
“I REMEMBER DOING THIS,” another exclaimed.
“Please buy her a $10 luggage scale,” a different viewer urged.
A different commenter wrote: “This one killed me.”
“I used to do this with my dog constantly,” a different social media user explained.
“Omg that’s brillant.”
“I legit thought this was how people used to weigh their luggage,” Megan wrote.
In the UK, hold luggage and hand luggage restrictions vary by airline. However, all airlines have restrictions on the amount of liquids you can carry in your hand luggage, including water, semi-liquid foods, toiletries, aerosol sprays, pastes and contact lens solutions.
According to Gov.uk, hand luggage liquids must hold no more than 100ml, with containers being kept in a single, clear plastic bag which holds no more than a litre in total.
Speaking of holidays, millions of Brits may be affected by a huge backlog at the Passport Office due to a 10-week average wait.
Many holidaymakers are facing difficulties thanks to new post-Brexit rules, with Brits no longer able to travel to the EU on passports which are due for renewal.
Under the Schengen area rules, passports must be less than 10 years old on the day you travel, and valid for at least three months after you plan to leave. Read more about that here.
