People are always shook after finding out the correct way to pronounce certain words or phrases - remember when we learned we were pronouncing Amanda Seyfried's name wrong after all this time?

Well, TikTok has just discovered the correct way to pronounce the clothing brand Shein and everyone is are losing it.

Watch the clip below:

Thanks to TikToker @caramalizedhijabi, we now know that the official Shein Twitter account confirmed how the brand's name should be pronounced - and we're in shock.

In response to a tweet, the Twitter account said: "It's pronounced SHE-in". But many of us had no idea this was the correct way to say it.

In the comments section, creator @caramalizedhijabi gave her own verdict on the recently discovered pronunciation. "If you say she-in really fast it sounds like sheen so Imma still be saying sheen." It turns out lots of people have been saying 'sheen'.

"It's still sheen to me too!" said one commenter.

A second responded to the video adding "No I will always say it sheen" while another TikTok account added "SHEEN 4EVA".

One woman said: "It will always be SHEEN in my heart" and other added "It HAS to be sheen".

People also shared their own unique ways of pronouncing the fashion brand's name and we can't get just how many there are.

Another user typed: "I've always said Shane".

"I thought it was like 'shine'" added one more commenter.

In related news, a video of rapper Nicki Minaj trying to pronounce Salford during a tour stop in Manchester in 2019 as part of her world tour resurfaced recently - and it's hilarious.

As she sashays across the stage, she joked: "Did you know I was born in Manchester?" in a heavily affected London accent. Nice try, Nicki, but you're about 200 miles out.

Watch the clip below:

"But if I was from Manchester, I don't know exactly where I would be from..."

As numerous voices in the crowd shout Salford, Nicki looks bemused, and continues (still in full British mode): "Well? You don't know?"

Bending down and trying to lipread what fans are shouting, she attempts to say Salford.

"South?" she said, frowning. "Sloth? Sol?"
