A woman has shared the ideal hack to solve the conundrum of wearing a bra and a backless top.

Watch the video below:

If you have ever struggled to find the perfect bra for a backless top, look no further. Fashion expert and self-described 'bra queen' Janette Ok, who posts on the platform as @inmyseams, has the answer to all your questions.

The clever hack involves clasping the bra straps in front of your neck and tightening them before moving them behind your neck.

This step creates a halterneck-style bra. Then, the Los Angeles-based fashion guru unclasps her bra band and uses a safety pin to secure it to her top. Depending on the type of top you're wearing, this step might be a bit different.

Janette's top can be tied into a ribbon at the back, which means she's able to hide the bra bands within the bow. Voila – within seconds she has bra support and a backless top all in one.

This way, she still has the support from the halterneck and coverage so there are no nip-slips.

Women in the comments were grateful for the hack, although some responses were mixed.

"Ok that is GENIUS," one woman replied.

Another grateful TikTok user replied: "Wow someone figured it out for us. A QUEEN."

A third shared: "OKAY SMART."

Another amazed TikTok user wrote: "The way this just changed my life."

However some women were not amused, with many claiming they would rather change their shirt or wear a hoodie to avoid doing the hack.

"I would just change my shirt," said one woman, while another person quipped: "This is so much work lmfao."

Someone else responded to the clip with: "That’s so much work for a shirt that looks uncomfortable anyway."

A fourth unimpressed TikTok user replied: "That’s too much work I just wear hoodie [sic]."
