Inside 'spicy' adults-only cruise where couples can swap partners

Toplessness is permitted in many of the locations onboard a spicy cruise

By now, we're sure most of us are aware of what a 'spicy cruise' is, but how many of us know what they actually look like?

For those who are yet to be enlightened on the phenomenon, a spicy cruise is miles apart from your run-of-the-mill family friendly cruise.

A spicy cruise is strictly adults-only, and sexual by nature.

Basically, they are cruises that singles or polyamorous couples can board, complete with 'playrooms', 'clothing-optional' areas and workshops run by experts to help people 'enhance their intimate experience'.

You're then free to explore your sexuality by hooking up with someone else, or swing with other couples.

One TikToker, called Bella, shared her experience onboard a Temptation Cruise.

While she obviously didn't share any x-rated moments, she did explain that more things you can expect onboard are themed parties, pool parties, spa and sauna facilities and live burlesque shows.

Now that your attention has been well and truly grabbed, we thought we'd give you the run down on the inside of a Temptation Cruise.

According to the Temptation Cruises website, this is where you can expect to rest your weary head when you book a spicy cruise with them.

The nights are jam-packed with entertainment, including pool parties complete with DJs.

You can sit here and enjoy your evening meal - though you have to be clothed for that.

And in case you were wondering about onboard etiquette, there are a series of strict rules.

The Temptation Cruises website states:

  • Upper bikini garments are optional at all pools, sun decks, and designated events.
  • The couples-only Desire Miches Resort Hotspot is the only onboard space that is 100% 'au naturel'.
  • ‘Appropriate attire’ must be worn in all other public areas, including dining facilities.
  • Some guests may want to keep their identities private - because of this, guests are asked that when taking photos and/or video, you only do selfies and close-ups for personal use with no wide angles.
  • Treat other ‘temptationers’ with the utmost respect.
  • The use of drugs is not allowed.
  • Keep noise to a minimum after midnight.
  • All staff members, original affiliates, brand representatives, and any person in a commercial relationship with Temptation are strictly forbidden to interact intimately or drink with guests otherwise face termination or immediate dismissal.
  • Explicit activities are not allowed in any of the public areas.
  • The resort is not responsible for lost items left outside of the safety deposit box located in your room.
