After giving birth to her first child, Australian social media star Stacey Hatfield has died.
The gut-wrenching news was broken in an Instagram post shared by the influencer's husband, Nathan Warnecke, on Sunday (19 Oct), revealing that Hatfield has passed away the month prior.
Warnecke shared the message on the 30-year-old's Natural Spoonfuls account - Hatfield's business that promoted 'real food recipes, low tox swaps, and programs like Low Tox Refresh and Low Tox Food Program, simplifying nutrition with wholefoods'.
It read: "It's with heavy heart that i share with you the unexpected passing of my beautiful wife, soul mate and best friend, Stacey Warnecke (Hatfield).

"Stace passed on the 29th September 2025 after successfully giving birth to our firstborn son, Axel, at home."
The father-of-one went on to add that 'an unforeseen and extremely rare complication arose' shortly after Hatfield gave birth, after which she was transported to her local medical centre.
"She passed after being transferred to hospital," Warnecke continued. "Hospital staff were amazing and did the utmost to help, but ultimately nothing could be done despite their best efforts."

Hatfield's heartbroken husband went on to say that he'd known the internet star for 'nine years', before describing her as 'the light of my life and the reason i got up in the morning'.
He added: "Words can't do justice to how devastating this is for myself and everyone that knew and loved her. She was my lighthouse in the storm and the world is less bright without her in it. As her husband, I couldn't ask for a better partner.
"She was the most beautiful, loving, caring, hardworking, disciplined, intelligent and trustworthy human being I've ever known."

Lastly, Warnecke told his late wife's followers: "She made me the man I am today and everything i have in life is all thanks to her.
"The happiest day of my life was getting to marry her, my best friend, on a white sand beach in the Maldives."
Of Hatfield's business ventures - which also included the social media content creation firm Waffl - he added: "I'm so proud of her for everything she achieved in her professional life and i was privileged enough to be able to help her complete her vision throughout the years.
"It was her lifes biggest dream to be a mum. She did it - on her terms, exactly the way she always dreamed of doing it.

"She loved being pregnant and over the last 9 months told our son she loved him everyday. She held Axel when he was born, nursed him, saw that he was a boy and loved him. She loved him so much and still, continues to love him."
A GoFundMe account has since been set up in a bid to raise money for funeral costs, as well as both household bills and baby supplies, and paid time off work for Warnecke.
"Nathan has a newborn baby and is left to navigate life from here as a single father," the description reads. "The challenge to provide all that a young child needs without his soulmate is a daunting one whilst dealing with such a tragic loss.

"Late night feedings, nappy changes and adjustment to this new life are a heavy burden for a young father even with the support of family."
So far, the fundraiser stands at $32,309 AUD.
