SAG Awards viewers spot Aubrey Plaza awkwardly losing her temper on stage
Some fans have speculated that she was elbowed in the face
Eagle-eyed film and TV fans have spotted the moment that Aubrey Plaza appeared to 'lose it' at the 2023 SAG Awards.
It all went down when the actress, 38, stepped on stage to accept the accolade for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series alongside the rest of The White Lotus cast. She looked more than a little annoyed:
The incident took place yesterday (26 February) in Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles when she tried to find a place among the cast on stage.

As the cast tried to arrange themselves, the actress, who played Harper Spiller, struggled to even make herself visible.
While she did initially seem pleased with the win, things took a turn when co-star Jon Gries said something to her subtly, and she immediately rearranged her dress around her breast area.
After this, she pursed her lips and looked more than a little upset as the award was accepted, and she appeared to mouth either 'Jesus Christ' or 'this s*** is f***ed'.
Needless to say, the blink-and-you'll-miss-it moment did not go unnoticed by viewers on social media, who began to speculate about what was going on.
One fan speculated that there had been a slight malfunction with the actress's dress, writing: "People criticizing Aubrey Plaza's face during the speech... usually valid, BUT this time, she had just been told to fix her dress and underboob.
"Her mind was probably racing a mile a minute."
A second, meanwhile, wondered if she'd actually been elbowed in the face.
They wrote: "When she mouthed 'Jesus Christ' it was because Meghann [Fahy] almost took her out with her elbow."
A third concurred with the elbow theory, adding: "She almost got elbowed and also was being shoved in the back the whole time, put two and two together."
Meanwhile, on TikTok, another fan speculated that this was simply the actress's default facial expression.
They wrote: "It's like no one in this video has ever seen Aubrey Plaza. That's her entire personality 100 percent of the time."
Another TikTok use agreed, adding: "If you don't know Aubrey Plaza then you don’t know Aubrey Plaza."
Others suggested that she had every right to be annoyed at being placed at the back of the cast after her starring role in season two of the hit show.
They wrote: "I mean they put her in the back like she wasn't the star of season 2."
