Jennifer Coolidge dropped major White Lotus spoiler in Golden Globes acceptance speech

Jennifer Coolidge dropped major White Lotus spoiler in Golden Globes acceptance speech

Jennifer has had an interesting night.

Warning: This article contains major spoilers for season two of White Lotus.

Jennifer Coolidge accidentally spilled a major White Lotus spoiler during her acceptance speech at the Golden Globes after winning Best Supporting Actress.

Take a look:

Jennifer, who was best known for her roles in films like American Pie and Legally Blonde before she was cast as Tanya McQuoid in the hit HBO drama, was overwhelmed while picking up her Golden Globe Award, and accidentally let a few spoilers - and f-bombs - slip during her speech.

The actor revealed that, before series creator Mike White cast her in the role, she had been struggling to find serious work, and she couldn't thank to School of Rock alum enough for all that he had done to give her another chance in the spotlight.

"Mike White has given me hope. You've given me a new beginning, even if this is the end - because you did kill me off, but it doesn't matter!" she said, spoiling the show's second season for anyone who hasn't watched it yet (though if you're one of those people, you should really have gotten around to it by now!).

"Even if this is the end, you've changed my life in a million different ways. My neighbours are speaking to me, things like that!

"I mean it, I was never invited to one party on my hill, and now everyone's inviting me!"

She continued: "If you don't know Mike White, this is what you should know: He's worried about the world, he's worried about people, he's worried about friends of his that aren't doing well...

"He really is one of the greatest people I've ever- He gives me so much excitement. He makes people want to live longer and I didn't.

"So anyway, I just want to say Mike White, ****, oh **** sorry! Mike, I love you to death."

And that wasn't even Jennifer's first blunder of the night!

Earlier, she had been on stage to present the award for Best Performance by a Supporting Actor in a Television Series, when she accidentally said: "And the Oscar goes to... Oh, no, it's the Golden Globes! The Golden Globe goes to..."

Needless to say, the mix-up left viewers in stitches.

One fan tweeted: "We need Jennifer Coolidge to host one of the shows one day #GoldenGlobes."

Another added: "Jennifer Coolidge going on and on about being nervous before presenting an award at the #GoldenGlobes gave me so much serotonin. Let her host everything!"

Another raved: "Omg Jennifer Coolidge needs to host an awards show."

Jennifer can do no wrong.

Moments before, Jennifer warned the audience that she felt something might go wrong - not knowing how right she would be.

"You know, somebody called Cara Bishop called me and said, 'Jennifer, we would like you to present at the Golden Globes this year.' And I said, 'Oh my God this is such an honour, thank you so much. Yes I would love to.' And I hung up on her," she recalled before announcing the winner.

"And then I thought about it for a little bit and I just had a complete anxiety attack and I got very, very nervous. And I thought, 'I'm not doing this.'

"So, I called Cara right back and I said, 'Cara I'm so touched that you'd want me to do this, but there's no way I'm gonna make it from behind the curtain all the way to the podium without breaking my skull... I just can't do it.'

"And then Cara... I think she was serious, she said, 'Jennifer, why don't you just wear a pair of crocs?'

"I said, are you kidding me? With my Dolce and Gabbana dress? All those crazy Italians will lose their minds!"

Well, despite her spoilers, f-bombs, and blunders, at least she didn't wear crocs.
