For many actors, filming intimate scenes alongside a co-star is something viewed as excruciatingly awkward.
For Aubrey Plaza, however, who was required to film a series of sexy moments alongside Dirty Grandpa cast-mate Robert De Niro in 2016, the opposite couldn't have been truer.
The pair were cast alongside the likes of Zoey Deutch, Julianne Hough and David Kelly in the X-rated comedy.
In it, Hollywood legend De Niro plays Zac Efron's recently-widowed yet heavily-horny grandfather, Dick, who sets out for one final spring break blow-out following the death of his wife. During his endeavour, Dick tricks his grandson's considerably-younger, sex-obsessed university student gal pal, Lenore (played by Plaza), to sleep with him.

Whilst promoting the X-rated laugher-fest a decade ago, 41-year-old Plaza recalled filming some saucy scenes alongside De Niro.
Speaking to Jimmy Kimmel that year, the Parks and Recreation favourite claimed: "There was a lot of interesting stuff that went down, you know."
Plaza went on to detail a '10-hour' sex shoot, during which she recalled she and De Niro, 82, receiving a number of cues from both directors and intimacy coordinators, none of which, she confessed, sank in.
"I’d try to get in there and suck on his nipples," Plaza laughed. "And he was like batting me away, and I didn’t know if it was in character or not."
She was later informed by staff on the set that 'Bob does not like his nipple area paid attention to'.
Recalling her reply, Plaza joked: "Great, now he thinks that I wanted to do that."

"I heard from my agent, who had spoken to his agent that he was legitimately scared of me. Every time I was around him, it was right before we started shooting, so I would be all over him, and I think I really freaked him out."
This wouldn't be the first time that Plaza would reflect on the time she spent alongside De Niro.
In 2022, she told Variety the duo had a 'weird' dynamic, which she believed was caused by his legendary status.
"I didn’t really have a relationship with him off camera because he’s him," Plaza continued. "I didn’t have time to get to know him, he shows up in a puff of smoke and there’s no chatting at the water cooler."
She added: "By the time he’d show up, I’m in character. My character had one goal: To have sex with him. I was acting totally insane as the character beca

"I don’t think he understood that wasn’t me. You’d think he would because he’s an actor and an amazing one."
