Sarah Ferguson's location has officially been confirmed for the first time in months.

The former Duchess of York, 66, has been lying low out of the public eye for quite some time, with her last appearance being at the private christening of her granddaughter, Prince Beatrice's baby, Athena, in London back in December.

She also hasn't attended any public-facing events since September 2025 - to be specific, according to Metro, it's been a whopping 213 days since we saw the former royal out and about.

It comes after new information about her relationship with the late convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein came to light in January, along with three million pages of files relating to the criminal financier, who died by suicide while awaiting a sex trafficking trial in 2019.

Her ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, who was arrested in February on public misconduct charges, has also long faced scrutiny over his ties to Epstein, and his name appears hundreds of times in the latest document release, as well as a picture of him crouched on all fours over an unidentified woman.

Although being named in the files does not imply any wrongdoing or knowledge of Epstein’s crimes, there have been growing calls for Ferguson to give evidence and answer questions from US lawmakers.

As per the BBC, Congressman Suhas Subramanyam, who is a member of the House Oversight Committee investigating the handling of Epstein's prosecution, said he believed Ferguson had 'information related to the investigation'.

Sarah Ferguson's most recent sighting

However, as reported by The Sun, the 66-year-old, who was stripped of her Duchess of York title last year, has recently been pictured at a luxury mountain ski resort in the Austrian Alps.

The snaps show the former royal wearing a blue trench coat and a grey cap outside of a chalet in the quiet village.

A source told the publication: "Fergie has been keeping an incredibly low profile while high up in the Alps.

“She hasn’t been seen for a long time and has clearly wanted to keep it that way. Her choice of outfit when she popped out was obviously carefully chosen to help her avoid being recognised.

“The area is absolutely beautiful, and it’s very quiet most of the time, so it’s the perfect place for a high-profile figure such as her to lie low when the heat is on.”

The last time Ferguson was seen in public was when she attended the Duchess of Kent’s funeral in Westminster Cathedral on 16 September.

She and Mountbatten-Windsor moved out of the royal lodge in February after they were evicted by King Charles III following the links to Epstein.

Tyla has contacted a representative for Sarah Ferguson for comment.
