Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor could make his move to leave the UK, after being arrested on his 66th birthday.

Andrew was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office in the morning as he was staying at his home in Sandringham.

Andrew has continuously denied any wrongdoing in relation to Epstein.

The arrest came as allegations were made against the royal after the US Department of Justice released millions of files and images related to their investigation into convicted paedophile financier Jeffrey Epstein.

At the time, Thames Valley Police said it was reviewing claims he allegedly shared sensitive information with the late sex offender, while he was serving as the UK’s trade envoy.

He was taken into the police station on 19 February, before being released pending further investigations.

While this came months after Buckingham Palace announcing, he would be leaving his royal home at the Royal Lodge, in Windsor, it appears he could also be choosing to leak his home country too.

According to a royal expert, Andrew might choose to relocate somewhere overseas, with the United Arab Emirates being pegged as the most likely choice.

This is because of his friendship with Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, its ruler.

According to the Mirror, the Sheikh has already rolled out the red carpet and offered up a16,000 square foot, staffed, six bedroom home for Andrew to move to.

Apparently, it’s fully secure too, and private.

However, Andrew Lownie, the author of the former Duke of York's life, thinks it would ‘upset’ the working relationship between the royal family and the region if he were to be housed there amid his controversies.

"If he were to go to the Middle East, they wouldn't want to upset the Royal Family," the author said.

"He would have to go with the [British] Royal Family's approval - which if that were known would be very unpopular - because their links with the King are more important than their links with Andrew."

He said that even Bahrain’s King, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, is 'very close to Charles,' and wouldn’t want to do something to 'p*** him off’, so there’s the island struck off the cards of places Andrew could move to.

Instead, Lownie thinks it’s more likely to be China, because ‘his former secretary Amanda Thirsk works for a Chinese company’ and after being isolated during his last birthday due to the allegations against him, the ‘Chinese ambassador turned up.’
