Disgraced royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor emerged from exile today for a major family milestone involving a baby with a rather unique trait.

The former Duke of York - who had his remaining royal titles stripped in October in light of damning new revelations over his relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein - was seen rocking up to St James’s Palace’s Chapel Royal, London this morning (12 December), being spotted entering the religious building through the side gate after arriving in a Range Rover.

The controversial appearance marks the first since his brother King Charles III removed his final honours and titles and demanded the 65-year-old's eviction from Royal Lodge, where he's lived since 2004.

In a statement released from Buckingham Palace, it was revealed that the decision had been made over Andrew's 'serious lapses of judgement' by associating with the media mogul.

The comments were made in the weeks after the posthumous release of a memoir released by alleged victim Virginia Giuffre, who claimed to have been coerced into sex with Andrew on three occasions, including when she was 17, after being trafficked by Epstein. Andrew has always denied the allegations.

Andrew's public engagement this week marks the christening of his granddaughter Athena, the child of his eldest daughter Princess Beatrice, whom he shares with ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.

Ferguson also had her 'Duchess of York' title stripped after it emerged that she'd sent emails to Epstein in 2011, describing the paedophile as both a 'supreme friend' and 'dear friend'.

It's not understood that any other royals were present for Athena's special service, and that just immediate family received invitations.

The youngster was born prematurely back in March, to 37-year-old Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Buckingham Palace also confirmed the news at the time, revealing the child's full name is Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi.

Royal family fans went on to notice that the baby girl bears a very unique trait, never seen before in the royal family.

That's because she was born in 2025, making her the first member of the royal family to be part of Generation Beta - or Gen Beta for short.

The latest generation of babies will be born between 2025 and 2039, and as such, could end up being the first generation to live into the 22nd century.

"Generation Beta will also inherit a world grappling with major societal challenges," demographer and consultant Mark McCrindle previously told press.

"This generation will be raised by Millennial and older Gen Z parents, many of whom prioritise adaptability, equality, and eco-consciousness in their parenting."
