Prince William cheekily tries to get Traitors spoiler out of Ross Kemp
Prince William met actor and Traitors star Ross Kemp on a mission to help us all to plan for emergencies because the world – according to Kemp – has become ‘more dangerous’.
And Kemp – who has spent time in some of the most hazardous places on the planet, from war zones to gang-infested cities – knows plenty about danger, as does William, who served his country as a helicopter search and rescue pilot.
At the launch of a new initiative called Ready Together, run with the National Emergencies Trust, the pair met in Ilminster, Somerset to help communities prepare for emergencies such as flooding and wildfires, reports the BBC.

Kemp said: “The world, to be really honest, is in a far more dangerous situation than it was 30 years ago.

“The more prepared we are for all eventualities, the better we'll be able to cope with them.”
However serious the topic, William could not resist by cheekily trying to get Kemp to reveal a Traitors spoiler.
William joked: “I'm going to get the answer.
“Do you watch The Traitors? I'm going to get the answer to what happens and I am going to tell you later.
“Spoiler alert today...he's here.”
Kemp revealed he had received more interest from his recent Traitors role than he ever had while working for years in his iconic Grant Mitchell EastEnders role.
“I went to the petrol station, which is the petrol station, [I've used since] I've been on television for 43 years,” he said.
“I've never [before] been selfied five times while I was filling my car up.”

The pair share an interest in the National Emergencies Trust, a charity which was launched in 2019, with William acting as its patron and Kemp as its ambassador.
“Bringing people together is what this is. This campaign is about making sure that they can pull together in the case of an emergency,” said Kemp.
“People across the world are pretty good when it comes to a disaster and they will go the extra mile.
“How much better would they be if they prepare for it? This area needs to be prepared for a flooding.
“We all we all have a role to play. We all have our own skills, and it's about defining them.”
William took part in a training exercise involving responding to emergency scenarios alongside local people and volunteers.

Local business owner Carole Speke said, “I was flooded many years ago and it really affected us but the community rallied and we came back.
“So it's great to see him here supporting the community.”
A Kensington Palace spokesperson said: “Research has shown that people are very willing to help in an emergency, including to support their neighbours during a crisis.
“At the same time, far fewer feel their communities have the structures and plans in place to respond effectively.
“Ready Together seeks to bridge that gap by turning goodwill into practical preparedness.”
