Prince George issued a humble two-word reply when asked by leading British tennis champions how good his game was on the final day of the Wimbledon Championships.
On Sunday (July 13), Prince George, the second in line to the British throne, joined his parents, William and Kate, and his sister, Princess Charlotte, in the Centre Court Royal Box to watch the 2025 Wimbledon Men’s Singles final.
The afternoon event saw Jannik Sinner prevail 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 over Spanish opponent Carlos Alcaraz to win his first ever Championships.
Having previously picked up wins at the Australian and US Opens, the tennis No. 1 only needs a win at Roland Garros now to achieve a Career Grand Slam - a feat he could achieve as early as next year.

George, 11, who made his Wimbledon Royal Box debut in 2022, watched the Men’s final alongside a plethora of famous faces, including beloved actress Nicole Kidman, Normal People star Paul Mescal and Felipe VI, the King of Spain.

As well as sinking their teeth into the Men’s Singles final, George, Charlotte and their parents had the chance to speak with this year’s Men’s Doubles champions Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool.
The all-British pair, who became the first to win the men's doubles title at Wimbledon for 89 years this weekend, reportedly met with the foursome and asked George how good he was with a racket and ball.

He replied with a modest, two-word answer according to The Telegraph.
“I’m alright,” he apparently said while shrugging.
To adhere to the Centre Court boxes’ strict dress-code standards, George was decked out in a suit and tie for his day out at the British tennis tournament.
Meanwhile, Charlotte stepped out in a sleeveless ivory dress.

Fans of the royal children have taken to social media to express sympathy for George having to be suited and booted to attend the London-based Grand Slam in the summer heat.
“Poor kiddo, felt so sorry for him buttoned up in his suit & tie! No wonder he looks in a huff bless him. Nice shirt & some shorts could have done,” said one Twitter user.
A second typed: “Poor child's roasting alive. I'd be fuming too”, while a third remarked: “Poor kid is wearing a suit in burning weather.”

As well as attending Wimbledon on various occasions, George has been spotted alongside his famous father at a handful of other sporting events.
On April 9, he joined William in the stands of the Parc des Princes to watch Premier League side Aston Villa take on eventual 2025 Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA competition.
A few days later, the pair were spotted supporting the Villains again, this time at Villa Park in Birmingham.
According to the Prince of Wales, his three children, including seven-year-old Prince Louis, play a huge role in his match day superstitions.

"If we’re not doing very well, I start moving round the house quite quickly and I put the children in different positions hoping that’s going to change our luck,” he told The Sun.
