People spot confusing details in Meghan Markle’s latest photo of her children

The mum-of-two took to Instagram to share a sweet snap of Archie and Lilibet on Mother's Day in the States

It seems like no matter what Meghan Markle posts on Instagram, even if it's a lovely photo of her cuddling up with her two children, people will find something negative to say about it.

The 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex, who shares Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, three, with her husband, Prince Harry, took to social media on Sunday (11 May) to share the adorable picture to mark the occasion of Mother's Day in the US.

However, it didn't take long for people to rush online to share their speculation over two very specific details regarding the two children.

Meghan captioned the sweet snap: "Happy Mother’s Day! Cheers to juggling it all with joy!"

Offering a separate tribute to Archie and Lilibet, the Suits veteran added: "And to these two gems - who still attempt to climb 'mama mountain', smother me with kisses, and make every day the most memorable adventure… being your mom is the greatest privilege of my life."

Meghan rounded off the caption: "I, too, 'love you more than all the stars in all the sky, all the raindrops, and all the salt on all the french fries in all the world.'"

As if like clockwork, members on board the Meghan Markle hate train were quick to rush to social media to share their thoughts on what they deemed noteworthy - namely, the length and colour of the children's hair as well as the length of one of Lilibet's legs compared to a previous shot of her limb from a few months ago.

"Where is Archie’s and Lili’s red hair this week Meghan Markle?" hit out one internet troll who clearly was perplexed by the concept of hair changing colour on camera depending on whether you're in the shade or the beaming sun. "Everybody was talking last week about their red hair whilst picking roses and today’s Mother’s Day photo, neither do.

"Even in the shade, it would still appear lighter than brown."

A second chimed in: "Her hair changed colour."

"Different hair colour too," quipped a third, while a fourth echoed: "Their hair is dark now too."

And a fifth questioned: "And what about Archie’s hair?

"Coarse, thick, curly and red… to black and dead straight."

And as for Lilibet's leg?

One troll penned: "My how Lili has grown in 7 weeks."

"IKR! She needs to start renting more age appropriate kids!" declared a second, referencing a seriously bizarre and totally unsubstantiated claim that the Sussex's use other children to pose as their own.

Absolutely bonkers, we know.

A third piped up: "There’s a shortage of appropriate size models available right now! Needs must!"

"One those was taken a long time ago, tell by the seasons, she has a stock of photos she likes to confuse people with," another cruelly insisted.

And a final internet troll agreed: "Yes... the pic on the right kept annoying me as the child's leg seems so long.

"Thank you, it was annoying me as to what was wrong with the pic each time I saw it. Yet, again, not the same child. the leg in the right belongs to a 6/7 year old child."

Tyla has reached out to Meghan Markle's representatives for comment.
