Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton’s relationship has once again been thrust into the public eye over reports the pair feuded over bridesmaid dresses ahead of the 2018 Royal Wedding.
It’s no secret that the sisters-in-law have a seemingly frosty relationship and as more insiders share details, the public are wanting to know more about what really went on behind the scenes.
Former Suits star Meghan and the Duke of Sussex tied the knot at a stunning ceremony in May 2018 held at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

But according to Prince Harry’s memoir Spare, it wasn’t as picture perfect as it seemed, with Meghan and Kate feuding over some ‘French Couture’ bridesmaid dresses.
In classic wedding drama, he claimed Kate had texted the actress four days before she was due to be married, insisting the frocks be remade.

Harry wrote: "Meg didn't reply to Kate straight away. Yes, she had endless wedding-related texts, but mostly she was dealing with the chaos surrounding her father. So the next morning she texted Kate that our tailor was standing by.

"This wasn't sufficient," he added.
However, Meghan and Harry’s 2017 engagement interview paints a very different picture to the swirling rumours of today, when Meghan revealed what she thought about Kate following their first meeting.
Speaking to the BBC’s Mishal Husain, Harry explained that the couples had met up 'quite a few times' and it was all going well.
Meghan then chimed in with a glowing, straight-to-the-point remark: "She's been wonderful."

Harry added: "Amazing, as has William as well - you know, fantastic support."
During the same interview, the Suits star admitted that her own parents Thomas Markle and Doria Ragland were worried about what she was getting herself into by joining the Royal Family.
She said: “Well I'm sure the onset, both my parents and my close friends were concerned, because we got very quickly swept up in a media storm that, as I shared, was not part of my life before that, but they also had never seen me so happy.”

Things seemingly turned sour ahead of the big day when Harry claimed that Kate complained that the bridesmaids dress designed for her daughter, Princess Charlotte, was ‘too big, too long, too baggy. She cried when she tried it on a[t] home'.
Meghan supposedly replied: "Right, and I told you the tailor has been standing by since 8am. Here. At KP. Can you take Charlotte to have it altered, as the other mums are doing?"
Then, Kate is said to have told her-to-be sister-in-law that she needed ‘all’ of the bridesmaids’ dresses to be remade, even drafting in Alexander McQueen designer Sarah Burton to back her up.
After some more back and forth between the pair, Harry wrote that he later found Meghan ‘sobbing on the floor’ of their home.

It’s understood that the next day, the Princess of Wales delivered a bouquet of flowers and a card as an apology.
