It sure has been a busy week for King Charles, with religious assemblies, public appearances and political gatherings making up almost every day.
Apparently, however, whilst some have commended the 76-year-old for his ceaselessly 'on-the-go' agenda, not everyone is thrilled by the monarch's manic schedule, with many voicing concerns online.
Where has King Charles been this week?
Manchester
For those in need of a reminder, Monday (20 Oct) saw the King travelling to the north of England, where a devastating terror attack happened earlier this month at a synagogue in Manchester. He said it had left him 'deeply shocked and saddened'.
There, he visited the site where two Jewish worshippers - Adrian Daulby, 53, and Melvin Cravitz, 66 - were killed in broad daylight at Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue, by 35-year-old Jihad Al-Shami. The attack occurred during Yom Kippur, the holiest day in the faith's calendar.

Rome
After taking Tuesday to himself, King Charles was then seen touching down into Rome on Wednesday (22 Oct) alongside wife, Queen Camilla, to meet with Pope Leo XIV in the Vatican.
The religious get-together marked the first time that the Head of the Catholic Church and the Head of the Church of England have prayed in public together for the first time in 500 years.

"And the first time the monarch will have attended a service in St Paul’s Outside the Walls, a church with a historic connection to the English Crown," a Buckingham Palace spokesperson previously added.
Charles and Camilla also remained in the Catholic capital on Thursday (23 Oct), where they attended a service at the Basilica of St. Paul’s Outside the Walls, where the monarch was given the honorary 'Royal Confrater' of the basilica title.
Windsor
Less than 24 hours after flying back to the UK, King Charles received a very special visitor; Ukrainian president Volodymr Zelenskyy, who landed in Windsor Castle on Friday (24 Oct) and received a Guard of Honour welcome.

The politician's visit to the UK is the most recent made of many since his country was invaded by Russia under the rule of Vladimir Putin in 2022, and comes ahead of further meetings with other heads of state in a bid to end the conflict in eastern Europe over the weekend.
Why has Charles' schedule started a debate?
As we say, since the monarch's many public escapades have hit headlines this week, Charles has been praised by a number of onlookers for both his energy and determination to meet with his subjects.

"The King is a busy man… less than 24 hours after seeing the Pope in the Vatican City he has welcomed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Windsor Castle," one fan gushed online.
A second referenced his ongoing battle with cancer, adding: "For someone who’s unwell, I respect his efforts to do his duty as a King."
Others, however, have taken a slightly more anti-royal approach, slamming the public appearances and condemning the King for his almighty air miles.
"Ya can get from Rome to London on a commercial flight in 2 1/2 hrs. Private flight…shut up," one hit out.

Another simply wrote: "More air miles."
"Walking round the Vatican then flying back to London hardly constitutes busy," a third continued.
Another went on of Charles' latter two events: "He said a prayer and had a sit down and chat. That ain’t busy and it’s not work either."
