The Princess of Wales opened up about her 'wishes' for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's daughter, Princess Lilibet.
Princess Catherine, who has been keeping very busy of late completing the gruelling Three Peaks Challenge as well as delighting crowds at Wimbledon, shared her thoughts about her niece.
Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was born on 4 June 2021 in Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, California, and it's rumoured that she is due to come over to the UK in a matter of weeks with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex along with Prince Archie.
Relations between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle had been strained at best, with Meghan telling Oprah Winfrey about her alleged mistreatment by the Royal Family and the tabloids.

She claimed at one point that the Princess had reduced Meghan to tears in a fallout over bridesmaids dresses.

"A few days before the wedding [Kate] was upset about the flower girl dresses, and it made me cry," Meghan said, adding that Kate had later apologised.
Meghan also spoke about her mental health at that time, explaining: "When I joined that family, that was the last time until we came here that I saw my passport, my driver's licence, my keys, all that gets turned over."
She saidat one point things got so bad that 'didn't want to be alive any more'.
"I went to the institution and I said that I needed to go somewhere to get help, said I had never felt that way before and need to go somewhere, and I was told that I couldn't, that it wouldn't be good for the institution," she added.
Shortly after Lilibet's birth, Kate was asked by a reporter: "Do you have any wishes for your new niece Lilibet?"
The Princess of Wales replied: “Oh, I wish her all the very best."
She added: "I can't wait to meet her because we haven't yet — met her yet.
"So, hopefully, that'll be soon.”

When asked further: “Have you FaceTimed with her?” she replied: “No, I haven't. No.”
Fans praised Kate for her honesty, with one person writing:“She wasn't ready to answer that question but she handled perfectly.”
While another said: "I felt sorry for Catherine that they even asked her that. Perfectly handled by Catherine though."
Prince Harry and Meghan's trip may well be cancelled though, after the UK Government rejected their request for additional security.
A private security company hired by the couple reportedly found six horrifying terror threats against the family.
The couple are meant to be visiting our shores for the first time in over four years, to launch the countdown of Harry's Invictus Games in Birmingham.
It is also thought that they may also pay a visit to Princess Diana's final resting place.
According to ITV, the private security firm carried out a risk assessment back in February, uncovering 'at least six plots against the Duke from jihadist and right-wing threat actors that have targeted other high-profile Britons'.
