The Prince and Princess of Wales's travel habits have been revealed by an unlikely source, particularly a rule they’re not able to break.

There have been a few times we’ve seen Prince William and Princess Kate travel via the sky and have even taken public modes of transport.

Back in 2015, passengers saw Prince William on a Ryanair flight from Norfolk to Scotland while he was training with the East Anglian Air Ambulance.

The passenger even took a snap of the Royal and shared it with The Sun, noting: "I never expected to see him on Ryanair, but it refreshing to see a member of the Royal Family take a cheap flight."

Then, in 2019, both William and Kate took to the skies with Flybe on their way to Balmoral, jetting off with their two eldest children Prince George and Princess Charlotte at the time.

However, you probably don’t know about the rules they’ve got to keep – until Love Island’s Helena Ford spilled the beans on Love Island All Stars.

Yes, the beauties are back in the Villa, with another go at finding love – but their spilling Royal secrets too.

The blonde bombshell, and ex-flight attendant revealed all whilst sunning in up in the reality TV show’s sunny location, where she explained a rule they can’t break.

Speaking with fellow contestant, Belle Hassan, she said: “They can’t fly the highest cabin. So, if there’s a first, they have to fly in business.”

Essentially, they can’t take First Class, and if there’s no First Class, they’d have to sit in ‘Traveller's Plus’, shared Helena due to their travel being ‘funded’ by the Government.

During this instance with the ex-attendant, she said there ‘was a First, so they had to sit in Business’.

However, she claimed the ‘whole’ of Business Class was full of their security personnel, and that the Royals used fake names to travel incognito.

Calling them ‘really nice’, she also described having celebrities on her flights, such as rapper Stormzy and even Hugh Grant.

In reality, the Royals can travel under the Sovereign Grant Act 2011, which is a payment pot that sees the UK Government make an annual payment to the royal family to fund King Charles III's official duties, such as travel, royal engagements, his staffing costs and some things for his family too.

The money is also used for upkeep on royal assets and residences.

So, Helena is almost spot on.
