In case you hadn't heard, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's new documentary has landed on Netflix.

Yep, the long-awaited series finally aired on the streaming platform today (8 December), and it's already seriously dividing people.

Harry & Meghan is billed as an attempt for the couple to tell their story, and let people know the truth about their relationship with other members of the Royal Family and sections of the British press.

The synopsis for the series reads: "In an unprecedented and in-depth documentary series, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex share the other side of their high-profile love story.

"Across six episodes, the series explores the clandestine days of their early courtship and the challenges that led to them feeling forced to step back from their full-time roles in the institution.

"With commentary from friends and family, most of whom have never spoken publicly before about what they witnessed, and historians who discuss the state of the British Commonwealth today and the royal family's relationship with the press, the series does more than illuminate one couple's love story, it paints a picture of our world and how we treat each other.

"From the critically-acclaimed, two-time Academy Award-nominated and Emmy-winning director Liz Garbus, Harry & Meghan is a never-before-seen look at one of the most-discussed couples in history."

However, as is often the case with the high profile husband and wife, there are people who fully support their decision to take a step back from official duties in the UK and there are those who absolutely hate them.

And since the doc aired on Netflix, some customers have actually threatened to cancel their subscriptions because of it.

Talk about throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

"I’m going to cancel my Netflix subscription this is disgusting," blasted one. "I seriously want to ask Harry where is your loyalty to your brother."

Another said: "I've been putting it off, but the Harry and Meghan show gives me enough reason to go ahead and cancel @netflix."

"Cancel Netflix. They abuse subscriber feeds to deliver Bs that is harry and Meghan," put a third.

While another added: "Harry and Meghan whining on a @netflix show is enough for me to want to cancel that service."

One person said they had been contacted a few times this morning by people asking to cancel their subscription.

They explained: "It’s 11am and I’ve already had 3 old men call to cancel their Netflix subscription because of this Harry and Meghan show.

"I took pleasure in telling them it would cost them more money to do so, and how much I liked them."
