Donald Trump has brutal reaction to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle leaving US for UK return
He might be two weeks late to the party, but Donald Trump has finally responded to the news that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have left the United States and returned to the UK.
The President held a press conference on Wednesday (2 Sept), where he told issued a pretty brutal message about the royal couple, who first set up shop in America back in 2020.
In the months prior, Harry and Meghan had resigned from their official duties, citing severe mistreatment from several senior royals and abuse from the British tabloid press, specifically aimed at the Duchess.
The couple then moved to California with their son, Prince Archie, seven, where they welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet, now five.

Last month, however, news broke that Harry and Meghan would return to the former's home nation by the end of summer, and had already enrolled their children in schools in England.
The revelation left some spectators divided, with some raising concerns over the pair's security - which was axed when they stepped down as senior royals - and others refusing to forgive them over their feud with the Royal Family.
Speaking out this week, however, Donald Trump claimed he was pleased to see the back of the couple.
"I'm happy about it," he told White House attendees. "I was not a fan."
Discussing Harry's late grandmother, the Republican frontman, 80, continued: "I had a very good relationship with the Queen. Really good. I got to know her very well.
"A really good relationship with King Charles. I knew him as Prince Charles and King Charles. I’ve known him for a long time. He’s a great, great guy."
Trump then slammed the Sussexes for the 'great disrespect' they allegedly showed Harry's family, claiming he 'would not have taken them back' if he was King Charles.
"I didn’t like the way she acted," he continued, referring to former Suits actress Meghan. "I thought she was terribly disrespectful to the Queen, to King Charles. I wouldn’t have taken them back. If I were in the royal family, I would not have taken him back."
Harry and Meghan flew into Birmingham Airport from California last week before travelling to a private residence believed to be in the Cotswolds.
The pair have not publicly commented on their return to the UK, but prior reports alleged that they're planning to split their time between Britain and their home in Montecito, which they are not selling.
The reasons behind the move have not been confirmed, although the Prince is believed to have wanted to be closer to family, as well as give Archie and Lilibet the chance to be educated in England.
