Donald Trump's chief of staff Susie Wiles has revealed that the US president is in the Epstein files, saying the two men were 'young, single playboys together'.
The right-hand woman of the Republican leader sat down with Vanity Fair for a series of wide-ranging interviews sharing behind-the-scenes insights into the high-ranking political job.
Wiles has served as the 32nd White House chief of staff since January and she made history as the first woman to hold the position.
In the new tell-all interviews, she candidly talked about Trump, saying he has 'an alcoholic’s personality' and governs with 'a view that there’s nothing he can’t do. Nothing, zero, nothing'.

Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide while awaiting sex-trafficking charges in 2019, however, last month the US House Oversight Committee released 20,000 pages of documents associated with the criminal, as well as a batch of photographs of his infamous island where celebrities and high-profile people are known to have visited.

The Epstein files are thought to include thousands of documents, including flight logs, emails, estate records, court documents, as well as internal Department of Justice communications, and information about the investigation into his death in prison.
This means that a whole slew of famous people have been named in them, Trump included, but this doesn't necessarily implicate any wrongdoing.
Essentially, the files are a varied collection of emails, communications, names, and random snippets of information, many of which are completely unrelated to the actual crimes committed by Epstein.
Speaking about this to the publication, Wiles said she'd read what she calls 'the Epstein file'.
She told Vanity Fair: “[Trump] is in the file. And we know he’s in the file. And he’s not in the file doing anything awful."
Wiles added that Trump 'was on [Epstein’s] plane…he’s on the manifest'.
Wiles said: "They were, you know, sort of young, single, whatever—I know it’s a passé word but sort of young, single playboys together."

While Trump and Epstein were reportedly close pals for years, Trump has consistently maintained that their friendship ended around 2004.
In the Vanity Fair interviews, Wiles also revealed that 'there is no evidence' that Bill Clinton visited Epstein's island, despite Trump's previous claims.
The US president previously said during his first term: "I know he was on his plane 27 times, and he said he was on the plane four times. But when they checked the plane logs, Bill Clinton - who was a very good friend of Epstein - he was on the plane about 27 or 28 times. So why did he say four times?"
However, Wiles has now told Vanity Fair that that 'there is no evidence' that the visits to the island took place.
When the publication asked whether there was anything incriminating about Clinton in the files, she said: "The president was wrong about that."
