Melania Trump is facing backlash for her President's Day post and the so-called 'double meaning' behind it.
For those who aren't familiar, President's Day is a federal American holiday that honours the birthday and legacy of the first US President, George Washington.
Since being invented in 1879, its meaning has been broadened to celebrate all US Presidents, including the current leader, Donald Trump.
The day, which falls on the third Monday in February, is usually marked by public ceremonies in the capital, Washington DC, and throughout the country, as well as most federal services, including post offices, being closed.

This year, President's Day was on 16 February, and a number of politicians and high-profile figures took to social media to share how they're celebrating.
Among them was, of course, First Lady Melania Trump, who shared a few Instagram posts on the patriotic day.

However, her first post actually had nothing to do with the holiday, which has rubbed some people the wrong way.
She shared a picture of the movie poster for her documentary, Melania, along with some quotes from critics and reviews.
In an attempt to boost her cinema views, the First Lady penned in her caption: "Don’t miss your chance to see MELANIA in theaters before its run ends. Experience the immersive visuals and sound on the big screen today."
Her second post was a snap of her with her husband, posted alongside the text: "Happy President’s Day!" and the American flag emoji.
But the photo she chose was of the couple posing at her movie's premiere, in front of a giant billboard to promote her film, which again, some people thought took away from the focus of President's Day.
One Reddit user wrote: "I always thought this Presidents' Day was in memory of George Washington's birthday, and thereafter, subsequent Presidents. Why is Melania attaching herself to this celebration?"
While MailOnline brutally reported the move as being 'shameless', and The Daily Beast said she was 'desperately promoting herself'. Ouch.
It comes just a few weeks after Melania came under fire for using an official White House event to promote the film.
During an event celebrating freed American-Israeli hostages, Melania threw in a mention of her documentary.
According to The Mirror, the First Lady directed viewers of the press conference to an 'emotional meeting' that features in her new film.
This prompted a reporter to ask: "Do you feel it's appropriate to use an official White House event to promote your documentary?"
Melania responded with: "This is not a promotion. We are here celebrating the release of the hostages of Aviva and Keith."
She affirmed: "They were in Washington, D.C. They called me. They said they would like to come over to thank me and to give hugs, and that's why we are here."
Melania's documentary movie follows the First Lady in the 20 days leading up to her husband Donald Trump's 2025 inauguration back in January.
Amazon MGM Studios reportedly had to fork out a whopping $75 million to make it, and the film has divided opinion since its release on January 30.
However, it appears to have somewhat paid off as it's been widely reported to be the most successful documentary opening in a decade, grossing over $7 million in its first weekend.
Tyla has contacted the White House for comment.
