A body language expert has weighed in on Melania Trump’s expressions during a viral appearance with her husband Donald - and it’s not looking good.
The first lady, 55, was by the US president’s side as they watched his military parade on Saturday (14 June).
The bash was to celebrate the US Army's 250th anniversary, and saw over 6,600 soldiers be joined by tanks and robot dogs as they marched down Constitution Avenue in Washington DC.
However, social media users have pointed out that the parade, which according to Reuters cost a whopping $45 million, seemingly didn’t draw the numbers Trump expected.

Social media clips and photos of big day, which coincidentally was also on the US president’s birthday, showed what looked like quite a sparse crowd.
What’s more, is Trump was even spotted looking like he was dozing off during the ceremony, leaving the first lady seemingly less than impressed.
But one particular older video from 2021, which is doing the rounds again on social media, shows Melania smiling and grinning at her husband, before turning away and letting out what looked like a big scowl.

Commenting on the now-viral moment, speaking to Spin Genie, body language expert Darren Stanton said: “Melania did a similar thing when Trump was first inaugurated in 2016; she had a scorned look of disgust on her face when he was facing the crowd.
“But when he turned around, she pulled a huge smile across her face to look like she is proud of him, this is exactly the same."
The expert claims: “Her body language here shows a similar picture. In this video, her smile is fake - we only see the bottom half of her face engaged, which shows us she is masking her true emotions and the minute he is out of the eyeline, her face goes back to contempt.
“I think she feels slightly out of place and doesn’t want to be in the limelight here.
"Her eye roll is saying ‘here we go again’, indicating that she is pretending she is interested and happy to be there.”
And sadly for Trump, it looks like social media users are in agreement.
“Find a woman that loves you as much as Melania loves Donald Trump,” sarcastically joked the person who first shared the clip.
In the replies, someone else added: “She really looks disgusted by him.”
And another social media user wrote: “That is freaking hilarious,” with another chiming in with: “She can't even keep it together for a sec!”
