MAGA Trump supporters have changed their mind about a popular conspiracy theory surrounding the assassination attempt of the president.
Back in 2024, Donald Trump was shot at while speaking at a rally, in Butler, Pennsylvania.
The bullet was described as having 'grazed' his ear as he turned his head a split second before the shot was fired.
Photos of the moment soon emerged of Trump getting to his feet, putting his fist in the air and shouting 'fight' as blood dripped down his face.

Sadly a man stood behind him at the rally was shot dead in the incident, Corey Comperatore, who was hailed a hero and a 'true American patriot' as he died while trying to shield his daughter.
The retired firefighter was killed, and two others were injured in the attack, which saw lone gunman Thomas Crooks being arrested.

Marjorie Taylor Greene has come out accusing the Trump administration of a ‘cover-up’ surrounding the incident.
Taylor Greene is a major former MAGA ally, and on X she describes herself as a "Congresswoman for GA-14, Christian, mom, small business owner."
Trump withdrew his support for the Republican, and he wrote on Truth Social: "All I see 'Wacky' Marjorie do is COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN".
Taylor Greene posted on X: "I’m not calling the Butler assassination a hoax, but there are a lot of questions that deserve public answers. I’m asking why won’t Trump release the information about Matthew Crooks?"
She asked: "Did he actually act alone? If not, who is behind him and who helped him? Why the cover-up?"
Other Trump supporters and MAGA followers joined in with the replies.
One, Trisha Hope, replied: "Corey Comperatore’s wife and daughters deserve to know why Corey, a true American patriot and hero, was murdered in Butler.
"Trump said repeatedly, 'I am your retribution.’ Where is the retribution?" she asked.
One Trump fan defended the president: "Trust President Trump. If he thinks we need to know, he’ll let us know. He has more skin in the game than you or me. Let him do his job. Better yet, help him instead of cause problems."

The family of the victim has also been asking questions, with Comperatore’s widow, Helen, telling the New York Post earlier this year: "All I’ve wanted this entire time was to sit down with the men who screwed up that day and find out why.
"Why? Why at that rally? Why at that one in Butler?" she demanded, before alleging: "Were you told to be a mess? Were you told by someone not to do your job? You do your job every other time, why that day?”
Other questions had been raised over the gunman's skill, after a fellow student, Frederick Mach, alleged the 20-year-old was rejected from their school's rifle club as he was a 'poor shot'.
He was a member of the local shooting club, Clairton Sportsmen's Club, for at least a year before the incident.
According to Metro, another student, Jason Kohler, said Crooks was an 'outcast', while Senator Dick Durbin, a Democrat from Illinois said "It is remarkable how unremarkable the shooter is."
After the shooting, it emerged from state voter records that he was registered as a Republican, however he had previously made a $15 donation to a Democrat fundraising platform according to CBS.
