The 'Living Nostradamus' Athos Salomé has issued a fresh prediction for what's to come in 2026.
The 39-year-old Brazilian mystic earned his nickname with his eerily accurate predictions, likening him to the 1500s French astrologer, Nostradamus, who shared his prophecies in the form of poems.
Salomé claims to have seen the Covid-19 pandemic coming, as well as the September 2022 death of Queen Elizabeth II.
More recently, he's turned his attention to what's in store for Gen Z, the rise of AI, and world politics, including US President Donald Trump and who may succeed him when his second term ends in 2029.

Now, speaking to Tyla, the seer has ominously put forward a number of prophecies on how 2026 is going to be a 'crucial year in a new world order, characterised by a severe learning process for mankind'.
The mystic predicts this new era will be connected to the 'meteoric rise of technological progress in artificial intelligence and reorganisation of institutions,' which he sees as a 'prelude to a new regime'.

Speaking of Trump, Salomé foresees that the presidential 'throne' will 'cease to be simply a political office but become a symbol of collective change'.
The 'Living Nostradamus' said: "By 2026, it seems that pragmatism, politics, and magical predictability may finally meet."
He predicts 'seismic impacts on the global power structure as it unravels'.
The seer claims: "Where traditional news coverage emphasises economic policies, speeches and international relations, technological experts point to a quieter but similarly transformative trend: the increasing centrality of data and artificial intelligence in governance.
"Talk of state-private partnerships - in particular, with the major technology companies - represents a more general shift toward the digitalisation of state functions.
"The application of algorithms to data analysis, behavioural prediction and the development of public policy is already in practice in several fields.
He added that this trend can be understood as part of a larger shift and he 'imagines a near future where the lines between people, machines and governance get blurred in new biological frontiers'. Doesn't sound scary at all, right?

Salomé predicts that the march of AI will 'raise questions about control of data, issues of privacy, and dependence on technology'.
He continued: "Whatever interpretation is deployed - whether institutional, technological or symbolic - there is a general agreement among analysts that 2026 constitutes a period of significant change."
Delving into what could be in store for US politics, he told Tyla: "When the current cycle of power comes to an end, the presidency - and the very concept of governance - may no longer be the same. The 'throne', in this context, does not disappear. It transforms.
"The MAGA movement becomes not just a political campaign but a long-term endeavor intended to carry Donald Trump’s influence even long after a single presidential term expires.
"It seeks power through consensus and long-term engagement, a foundation for political power that can mold government for decades to come."
