Kate Middleton and Prince William attended the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey yesterday, and shared a sweet moment of PDA.

The Prince and Princess of Wales were joined by other members of the royal family; King Charles III, Queen Camilla, Princess Anne and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester.

During the event, which comes a couple months after her announcement earlier this year (14 January) that she is in 'remission' from cancer, Will and Kate could be seen sharing a candid display of affection.

All eyes were on Kate during the annual Commonwealth Day Service following her absence last year after the 43-year-old revealed that she'd be taking a temporary break from the public eye after receiving her cancer diagnosis.

As they took their seats in Westminster Abbey for the service, Will and Kate - who are set to celebrate 14 years of marriage next month - were seen laughing together before the ceremony commenced.

Additionally, one lip reader has assessed a particular piece of footage of Kate which saw her hubby uttering something into her ear as they entered the religious landmark.

The mum-of-three was photographed donning a hot pink gown - designed by Catherine Walker - and hat by Gina Foster as she entered Westminster. It was then that she and William were welcomed by Dr David Hoyle, Dean of the Abbey.

According to lip reading expert Jeremy Freeman, a clip of the moment - which has since done the rounds on social media - sees Kate turning towards the person on her left and allegedly uttering the word, 'Thanks'.

She supposedly then turns to William, telling the future King the celebrations are 'so lovely'.

Freeman - who spoke exclusively to Tyla - claimed William then replies: "Not bad, right?"

It wasn't just Kate whose public appearance set tongues wagging earlier today, but her father-in-law, King Charles III's.

In February of last year - just weeks before the Princess broke the news of her diagnosis - Buckingham Palace announced that 76-year-old Charles had been diagnosed with cancer.

"During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted," a statement released at the time read.

"Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer."

The most recent update on the King's health came in September, when Palace officials stated that His Majesty's 'treatment has been moving in a positive direction and as a managed condition the treatment cycle will continue into next year'.

The message added: "There is a sense of optimism, which can be seen in the King's desire to keep up a busy schedule of public engagements, including during the festive period."
