Jimmy Kimmel has dropped a 'quiet, piggy' dig on US President Donald Trump, and people can’t stop talking about the seriously ironic twist.
Trump shocked the world earlier this week (17 November) when Bloomberg News reporter Jennifer Jacobs asked him about the recent release of the Epstein files by the House Oversight Committee.
The president then pointed a finger in her face, telling her: "Quiet. Quiet, piggy."
Now, despite Trump having a history of launching personal attacks at female reporters, the world was still left stunned, and Kimmel took it upon himself to use his platform and directly give him a taste of his own medicine - quite literally.

The 58-year-old host started his speech in the episode, which aired Thursday evening (20 November,) quoting one of the president's Truth Social posts: "Late last night, the Angry Orange posted, 'Why does ABC Fake News keep Jimmy Kimmel, a man with no talent and very poor television ratings, on the air? Why do the TV syndicates put up with it? Also, totally biased coverage. Get the bum off the air'."

Mind you, Kimmel's opening monologue after ABC announced it had suspended the programme 'indefinitely' after the host’s comments about the fatal shooting of conservative campaigner Charlie Kirk garnered more than 13 million views on YouTube, and 5.7 million views on Instagram in less than a day.
The late-night host continued: "And he posted this, I think this is interesting, at 12.49 a.m., 11 minutes after the show ended on the East Coast, which is nice. He watches us live."

Kimmel then directly addressed the 79-year-old Republican: "Hi, Mr President! Thanks for watching us on TV instead of on YouTube. We appreciate that, and I'll tell you, it's viewers like you who keep us on the air, ironically."

"It's also sweet that even in the middle of the biggest sex scandal in the history of the American presidency, he takes precious time on the toilet to post about our show," he added, referring to the Jeffrey Epstein files.
Kimmel went on: "He keeps saying we have bad ratings, and you should listen to him, because if anyone knows about bad ratings, it's that guy. President Trump's approval rating is tanking."

The programme then aired a compilation of news reports confirming that Trump's approval ratings were 'plunging to a new low', even among Republicans.
"The approval rating of President Donald Trump is at the lowest level," one report of many read.
Kimmel carried on, referencing the fact that Jimmy Kimmel Live! was temporarily suspended earlier this year: "I have honestly lost count now of how many times the president has demanded I be pulled off the air. I mean, talk about a snowflake, this guy.

"Every five weeks, he flips out and wants me fired. If you got this many threats from a neighbour, you'd have no problem getting a restraining order. The judge would be like, 'Yeah, sounds like the guy's nuts'. Boom. It's disturbing.
"You know, and you've done this before. You tried to get me fired in September. It didn't work, Mr President."
Rounding off his incredible speech, Kimmel joked: "I admire your tenacity. If you're watching tonight, which I presume you are, how about this? I'll go when you go, okay? It'll be a team.
"Let's ride off into the sunset together like Butch Cassidy and the suntanned kid.

"And until then, if I may borrow a phrase from you, quiet, piggy," Kimmel concluded in a mic-drop moment which left the audience erupting into a chorus of cheers.
People have since rushed to social media to share their thoughts on the finishing punchline, with one person writing: "This is awesome! Quiet, piggy. Best way he could’ve ended it. Delicious."
Another penned: "That was hilarious."
And a third chimed in: "Thank you for calling out the president’s abhorrent behaviour via Jimmy."
