A viral video of Donald Trump branding a female reporter a 'piggy' earlier this week is still doing the rounds on social media - but it's not just the President that's being blamed for the controversial moment.
The scandal occurred on Monday (17 Nov), while Trump hosted a press interaction on Air Force One, during which he was questioned about the recent release of the Epstein files by the House Oversight Committee.
Over 20,000 documents relating to the Jeffrey Epstein and his heinous sex crimes were made public last week following a vote, several of which were emails sent from the paedophile about the politician.

One email sent by Epstein alleged Trump, 79, 'knew about the girls', while another claimed he 'spent hours' with a trafficking victim.
Though the Republican initially branded the file release as the 'Jeffrey Epstein Hoax', a ploy put into place by Democrats to distract from their 'losses', he later took a major U-turn encouraging federal agents to make the documents the federal public to prove his innocence.
Asked by Bloomberg News reporter Jennifer Jacobs if there's anything particularly 'incriminating' in the documentation referenced, Trump pointed a finger in her face, telling her: "Quiet. Quiet piggy."

Unsurprisingly, the right-wing leader was subsequently slammed for his 'misogynistic' remarks, as one social media user questioned why the 'entire US isn't calling for his removal?'. "Trump is the epitome of a misogynist. No context can justify this," they added. "Disagree?"
Another wrote on X (formely Twitter): "This is the President of the United States. This is how he talks to the press and other adults that he is supposed to lead. America can do so much better!"

However, a number of other individuals have found themselves in the firing line over Trump's outrageous insult.

Social media onlookers are now using the opportunity to call out other reporters in attendance - the majority of whom were male - whom, upon hearing the appearance-based remark, refused to step in.
No one jumped to Jacobs' defence, nor called the politician out for his outburst.
One critic hit out: "WTF. Absolutely no female should put up with this. How dare the rest of the press pool just sit there and remain silent after this asswipe put his finger in a female reporter’s face and called her piggy."
They added: "No follow up from the press pool. No having her back."

Another pointed out: "Trump said 'quiet piggy' to a reporter and no one said anything in her defence. Why is everybody so scared of him?"
"Every male reporter on Air Force One who sat there silent when Trump called a female reporter 'piggy' is part of the problem," a third went on. "Stand up!"
