Jimmy Kimmel has taken aim at Donald Trump with a savage birthday card that resembled a note the US president allegedly addressed to Jeffrey Epstein.

It’s no secret that Trump, 80, and Kimmel, 58, don’t exactly get along, after a number of public social media feuds and Kimmel’s show being temporarily taken off air last year.

And now, the host has reignited the drama by wishing Trump a happy 80th birthday on Instagram, as the politician celebrated the milestone on Sunday (14 June).

Kimmel posted a spoof of a card that Trump is accused of sending to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in 2003 - something the US president denies.

Back in September, US lawmakers released a copy of a birthday scrapbook that was compiled by Epstein’s former girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell - and it included a note allegedly signed by Trump.

The book was put together around three years before the first sex-abuse allegations emerged against the criminal financier.

In May, Trump refiled his $10 billion defamation lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal for publishing the birthday card after his initial attempt was thrown out in April.

In the card, the words were written inside the silhouette of a naked woman with a signature scrawled at the bottom. It was also written in the form of a script showing a conversation allegedly between the Republican leader and Epstein.

It reads: "Voice over: There must be more to life than having everything.

"Donald: Yes there is but I won't tell you what it is.

"Jeffrey: Nor will I, since I also know what it is.

"Donald: We have certain things in common Jeffrey.

"Jeffrey: Yes we do, come to think of it.

"Donald: Enigmas never age, have you noticed that?

"Jeffrey: As a matter of fact, it was clear to me the last time I saw you.

"Donald: A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy birthday - and may every day be another wonderful secret."

Meanwhile, Kimmel’s spoof read: “Happy 80th Donald! A pal is a wonderful thing. Happy Birthday and may every day be another wonderful secret.”

It also included the outline of a man, seemingly taking aim at Trump’s physique.

Kimmel penned: “Happy #80” and even directly tagged Trump in the post.

As for the alleged Epstein letter, Trump directly addressed the claim himself on Truth Social.

He quipped: “The Wall Street Journal printed a FAKE letter, supposedly to Epstein. These are not my words, not the way I talk. Also, I don't draw pictures.

"I told Rupert Murdoch it was a Scam, that he shouldn't print this Fake Story. But he did, and now I'm going to sue his ass off, and that of his third rate newspaper. Thank you for your attention to this matter! DJT."
