Elon Musk has been slammed for bringing his children to another high-stakes political meeting, but some have called the move 'fascinating'.

The technology billionaire is father to 12 children, and since being appointed head of the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, by Donald Trump, Musk has spent more time than usual around political figures.

But it seems he's not sacrificing fatherhood for his new role, as he has brought his kids along to political meetings and broadcasts.

His four-year-old son X Æ A-12 made a lasting impression after joining his dad at a White House press conference with the president earlier this week.

And he brought three of his other kids - X and his three-year-old siblings Azure and Strider - along to a meeting with the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi yesterday (13 February).

India's foreign ministry said Musk and Modi discussed 'strengthening collaboration between Indian and US entities in innovation, space exploration, artificial intelligence and sustainable development', along with 'entrepreneurship and good governance'.

But people in the comments were more concerned about whether he should be bringing his small children along to these highly professional occasions.

One person joked: "Is the White House running a daycare for President Musk's kids?"

Another added: "This is crazy because on one hand it looks straight up like a meeting between two heads of state, but on the other hand Modi has all his advisors on his side while Elon has a bunch of kids."

A third said: "It’s disrespectful to India that Elon Musk’s kids are present at a meeting @PMOIndia & his full delegation hold with Musk.

"It’s not about Modi but this sort of causal approach is insulting to the world’s largest democracy."

One person thought the meeting was 'fascinating', and questioned 'what the men in suits are thinking?'.

His son X certainly made his mark during the important meeting at the Oval Office several days prior, as he pulled faces, climbed all over his dad and even appeared to wipe his bogies on the Resolute desk.

It soon became a viral moment. One person chimed in: "Elon's kid is feasting on his boogers in front of Trump."

While another viewer posted: "I'm watching Elon Musk's son pick his nose, eat boogers and wipe them on the Resolute desk. There's no way this kid is not annoying Trump."

But the four-year-old's mum, Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, has since spoken out after her son’s Oval Office cameo became a hot topic online.

Writing in response to another user, she said: "He should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I'm glad he was polite. Sigh."
