President Trump has been slammed this week for firing an appearance-based insult at a journalist who enquired about the Epstein file release.
As a reminder, the House Oversight Committee released over 20,000 documents relating to the late Jeffrey Epstein and his heinous sex crimes last week following a vote, several of which were emails sent from the paedophile about Donald Trump.
In one addressed to his associate Ghislaine Maxwell and author Michael Wolff, Epstein - who took his own life in jail in August 2019, while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges - alleged that the politician had 'spent hours' at his house with a victim.
Another email claimed that Trump 'knew about the girls'.

In response, the 79-year-old Republican branded the release of the files as 'The Jeffrey Epstein Hoax', insisting the files were a ploy put into place by Democrats as a distraction from their 'losses'.

Over the weekend, however, Trump took a major U-turn, encouraging federal agents to make the documents the federal public to prove his innocence.
During a press interaction on Monday (17 Nov), he was asked about his latest change of stance on the emails by Bloomberg reporter Jennifer Jacobs.
In footage which has since gone viral online, the right-wing leader aggressively rebuked her query with a hugely personal insult.
In the clip, Jacobs begins to ask if there's anything particularly 'incriminating' in the documentation, after which the politician points a finger in her face.
"Quiet. Quiet, Piggy," he then responds.

Unsurprisingly, Trump's controversial comments haven't gone down well with many social media onlookers, many of whom have voiced their horror at the 'disgusting' nature of the insult.
One hit out on X: "US President points at a female reporter saying 'quiet piggy' and the entire US isn't calling for his removal? Trump is the epitome of a misogynist. No context can justify this. Disagree?"
Another pointed out: "This is the president of the United States who himself is overweight calling another person piggy."
"Trump crashes out and derails a reporter with a stern comment!" a third wrote. "This is the President of the United States. This is how he talks to the press and other adults that he is supposed to lead. America can do so much better!"

A fourth added: "The President of the United States is a disrespectful, unfit creep."
For reference, this is far from the first time that Trump has come under fire for using 'Piggy' to insult a woman.
In 2016, Alicia Machado - former Miss Universe, who won the title at age 19 whilst the father-of-five served as a co-owner of the organisation - alleged that Trump had used the same term whilst threatening to remove her win after she gained weight.
Machado previously told press: "He was overwhelming, I was so scared of him. He’d yell at me all the time. He’d tell me, 'You look ugly' or 'You look fat'."
She continued: "Sometimes he’d 'play' with me and say, 'Hello, Miss Piggy,' 'Hello, Miss Housekeeping'."
