Donald Trump makes major blunder in social media post and people are all saying the same thing

The 79-year-old has been called out online following the Truth Social mishap

Donald Trump has had quite the mishap in one of his social media posts and people are all saying the same thing about it.

As we know, Trump appears to love nothing more than to take to various social media platforms, most notably X and Truth Social, to share several posts a day characterised by his signature caps-lock format, excessive use of punctuation (namely, the humble exclamation mark) and how he likes to sign off some of his posts with his full name - Donald J. Trump.

Now, one particular post in question, which was uploaded on Sunday (22 June), now reads: "The GREAT B-2 pilots have just landed, safely, in Missouri. Thank you for a job well done!!! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!"

However, it didn't always read this.

The original post saw Trump misspell his own name, most likely down to a finger slip on his keyboard, meaning that he signed off the message as 'DONAKD' J. Trump - writing the letter 'K' instead of the correct 'L'.

People have since rushed to social media, sharing screenshots of the original typo as they called out the 79-year-old Republican's blunder.

One X user penned: "While thanking the B-2 pilots for their service, Trump misspelled his own name while signing off in a new statement 'DONAKD J. TRUMP'. He can’t even spell his own name."

"How did you misspell your name? DONAKD J. TRUMP," hit out a second.

A third joked: "Let’s hear it for DONAKD J TRUMK, PRESIDEKT OF THE UNITKD STATKS."

"Hey everyone!! Let’s call him DONAKD J. TRUMP," quipped a fourth, while a fifth chirped: "DONAKD J. MOTHER F*CKING!!! TRUMP!!!"

Another lamented: "DONAKD J. TRUMP just thanked himself in the third person while misspelling his own name. Strong leadership. Very bigly."

"Donakd J. Trump??? The guy can't even spell his own name," echoed a final X user.

Now, while Sunday's social media slip was, as we say, most likely down to keyboard typo more so than Trump actually not knowing how to spell his name - it does suggest, however, that he didn't proof-read or double-check his post before hitting send if he was able to miss something as glaringly obvious as his own name spelt wrong.

And, considering Trump flocks to Truth Social and X multiple times a day to issue global warnings, leak private text messages, call out public figures and share major updates on his administration - that's not exactly very comforting.
