Donald Trump is facing criticism for impersonating Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s accent during the last leg of his Asia tour today (29 October).
It's been a busy few days for the Republican leader, who is spending a week in Asia and has been meeting with a slew of different world leaders.
The US President, 79, finalised details of a trade deal with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung today, as well as spending time with Japan's newly elected prime minister, Sanae Takaichi yesterday (28 October).
He called her role as Japan’s first woman prime minister a 'big deal,' putting an emphasis on the US commitment to Japan, before promising: “Anything I can do to help Japan, we will be there. We are an ally at the strongest level.”

And on Sunday (26 October), he was in Malaysia for the annual summit of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), where he broke into dance as he touched down in the country.
As you can imagine, the week has provided quite a few viral moments, the latest of which being during Trump's speech at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Gyeongju, South Korea earlier today.
However, it's doing the rounds on social media for all the wrong reasons.

As per The Independent, the President was talking about earlier this year when India exchanged fire with Pakistan in a four-day conflict, with people worried it could turn into a full-blown war.
Speaking about the Indian PM at the summit, Trump said: "I’ll tell you what, Prime Minister Modi is the nicest looking guy. He’s… oh, you’d like to have your father like that."
He continued: “He’s a killer! He’s tough as hell," before inappropriately launching into an insensitive imitation of Modi, seemingly trying to put on an Indian accent.
Switching back to his own voice, he continued: "I said whoa, is that the same man that I know?"

Understandably, the impression has not gone down too well with onlookers, who have taken to social media to slam the American leader.
One Twitter user shared the moment in question, alongside the caption: "Trump does a very unflattering impersonation of Modi."

Meanwhile, people in the replies added: "The people clapping should be embarrassed" and "This is legitimately hard to watch."

"That is so damn cringe. Yikes," agreed a third person, while a fourth chimed in with: "WHAT THE F**K?? Drag him off the stage!!!"
While someone else on Reddit sarcastically quipped: "This is not going to play well among the MAGA voters who care about respectful portrayals of other cultures. He's gonna lose 2, maybe even 3 supporters over this."
Another agreed: "Nothing he does surprises me anymore; it just further disgusts me."
While someone else wrote: "It's absolutely incredible how stupid he sounds every single time he speaks."
